MondlyReviews of mondly.com

I am certain that mondly staff play in the league at the top level and on several ocassions I have been several 100 points in front on one occasion nearly 800 points in front 10 mins later im in 2nd place about 1000 points behind mondly just because you run and organise the game does not authorise you to cheat and adjust scores as you please. I hate cheaters and therefore I want a full refund for this app I paid around £99 I'm disgusted I don't think you even care. I want my money back

I really like the app! In my opinion it is very complete and I feel that it helps me a lot to learn new idioms. All the different types of lessons makes learning even more interesting and fun

Many ways to learn; most lessons are immersive with a visual-memorization approach. Great customer service, too: they helped me troubleshoot an account issue with an above and beyond solution. I have tried other language platforms, but the conversational forms learned here help you better recognize what you would really hear from a native language speaker.

PRO - I got a lifetime subscription at a discounted price for all 40+ languages - Easy and quick way to grab some vocabulary and basic phrases during your commute or lunchbreak, but only usefull as a study companion with a class or other method - You can learn to and from any other language the app offers, it's not necessary to speak English - You can easily skip lessons you don't like, or go back in time to take earlier lessons. But you can't skip ahead. CON - Very basic and often tediously repetitive - No real levels or advancement: it doesn't adapt the excercises to your own level - No grammar or instructions - Not possible to slow down the audio - Speech recognition does not always work - No conversations or stories to tie the words and phrases together - You can track the 'progress' you made (ie the 'points' you earned after completing each lesson), but only for the last week, not for a longer period - There is a 'test' after every week and every month, but often it consists of exactly the same exercises as the daily lessons, without any variation. There is also no option to compile a random test of any previous lessons.
