Pretty good but not perfect.
I like the way the app is organized and the subtle way it introduces grammatical aspects without lengthy memorization but allows for those so inclined to access the information. The recycling and review of vocabulary is good and for the most part, when I'm asked to speak, the program properly recognizes my pronunciation but sometimes not. I'm an American studying Italian and though I specified that, the app is clearly set up for British English. It's frustrating to have to convert words into British English to answer questions and very frustrating if I learn that I was "wrong," when I use an American word. Another aspect I find annoying is simply that I am constantly compared to someone named Tanya who has apparently garnered a lot of points. Is this supposed to inspire me or are we somehow in competition? The last complaint I have is that some of the intonation, particularly in regards to questions, seems a little off. I bought the lifetime subscription and I'm NOT sorry about that. I love languages and there's plenty for me to enjoy here.
