This place misleads you about when the furniture "actually " gets delivered. So far it's been a very tiring and frustrating experience dealing with them, the Sales person Natalia first mentioned the sofa will be delivered by Mid of May and made us make the purchase assuring it will be delivered well in time for our housewarming party and then later when we call, she mentioned it will be delivered in June first week which came as a shock and untill now we didn't receive the couch or any updates. We won't recommend Modani especially the Costamesa branch due to misleading information and wasting customers time. Update: receiving our couch finally and we love it, wanted to give 5 stars but the whole unexpected wait time left a bad taste

Difficult at first. Did not appreciate the first offer. Can not say if I would purchase another item at Modani. Representative Brigitte was wonderful to deal with.

I encourage you to check other places like Houzz and Modern before making your purchase. I purchased a coffee table that was priced 300 dollars more at the Modani store than at Houzz online. Also if you purchase a piece of furniture not in stock, they don't advise ahead of time that it may cost an additional 600 to 900 dollars more in delivery fees. Be careful. Wendy Russell

Loved the store and the look of all its products, but the delivery experience was not so great. The drivers couldn't hide their expressions when they realized there were stairs involved. It also took them a long time, and when the furniture was placed in the wrong locations they didn't seem to hesitate to roll their eyes and take it to the proper location. Most of the furniture requires some sort of assembly, whether it be legs on a couch, or putting together an entire entertainment system. Which I had to pay for, because it was ridiculous to build on my own. Though the style of their furniture is nice to look at, the comfort is from a different planet. I've had my couches for about 8 months now, and they cushions still haven't softened. Its as if they were new, with horrible support and a cardboard like feeling to them. When purchasing, I would think really hard if the pieces work with your home in terms of comfort, instead of style. Most pieces came delivered with one or two scratches already on them, definitely on the legs of all the pieces, so it seems to me like they have a production/shipping issue. Don't know if I would purchase there again, I'd think really hard and truly weigh out my options. Don't be fooled by the price, you get what you pay for.
