The Delivery people handled my glass table horribly; the person threw tools on the table, and they damaged my wall. The Milk White Verrier Chair was soiled and damaged: I declined delivery of chairs, and I wish I returned the table as well because I don't believe it's was put together properly. I called the store, and they kept me on hold for an hour, when I finally got through they acted like the store was a separate entity from Customer Service (CS). They feel like they have no responsibility at all except for taking your money, and the Salesperson would not give me the CS phone number. I had to google it. Walmart would have done better.

The furniture is great for the price, but the customer service is absolutely terrible. I visited this store in Sept 2021 and when I walked into the store, nobody greeted me at the door. So I decided to walk around and I eventually found some furniture that I wanted to purchase and I had to track down someone to help me. I spent over 5k and did not receive a thank you or anything. I'm guessing this is common practice at this place. I originally scheduled this for delivery on Friday, Oct 29th, and the day before delivery I was emailed by their dispatch and told they were rescheduling me for Monday, Nov 1st. On Sunday, their delivery manager texted me and said that my delivery would be rescheduled for Tuesday with no apology or explanation. Of course, Tuesday morning rolls around and you know what happened next. The delivery manager texted me this morning and said my delivery was not ready and he would get back to me on a later date to schedule this. This is extremely frustrating and between having terrible service with the sales rep and delivery manager, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible customer service and delivery team. I ordered the bed set and dinning table with chair in September, and should be delivered 2 weeks ago. But everything were damaged (bed, 2 nightstands and dinning table) when the delivery team (Qualex) arrived! The most horrible things is the delivery team damaged my house and left the mass! I contacted with the local store (Costa Mesa) and the customer service, but after 2 weeks I still don’t know when I will get my order, and my new house still not get repaired! Every time I called they only told me will follow up or will contact me shortly, but that’s not true!!!! Now I need to live in the house without bed, and no one can tell me when I can get it!! Think twice before you buy the furniture from them!!!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE delivery service and no assistance by the Modani group in Miami, after practically begging for their help. They made me wait all night for the delivery people to return without a follow-up call. I purchased a dinner table for my new apartment to celebrate with friends and family prior to my sons’ departure to their universities. I paid for “White Glove Delivery Service” to have the table assembled. The delivery guys left the table unassembled in the middle of a hallway and ran off. They lied by saying that I told them not to assemble the table (although I paid Modani the assembling fee), and they wouldn’t answer their phone five minutes after running out. I called Modani several times seeking resolution of the issue, but they left me hanging in total disregard of my desperation, while they went on with their day giving attention to their new buyers/victims. I’m so incredibly angry. I’ve never written a bad review, but I’m tired of companies like Modani giving buyers so much attention to make a sale, but ignoring the buyer once the sale is completed. I was planning on purchasing other furniture from Modani, but not after this horrible experience. Please share this review with others.

The terrible experience ever, I bought the white Giorgio bed is so bad quality and high price. I was fooled.It broke with a one month of use. The company fix and broken again after 2 months.The costumer service is not working, don’t respect the costumer. They didn’t refund me and don’t changed . I paid almost 2k for the bed.

I would think twice before ordering from this company. I ordered a sofa online and they delivered the wrong sofa with the wrong pieces. I got 2 left and one a center piece. I’ve been trying to get it resolved for over 2 weeks now with no success. Every time they transfer me to the “claim/return” department nobody answers. Numerous phone calls and emails have resulted and zero contact to resolve my issue. I think they closed their return department. I’m going to be forced to contact my bank to get my money back since nobody ever calls me or emails back from their return department. A huge regret buying from this company!

Writing about my experience at San Diego Modani Furniture store! This is the worst store ever... do not buy from this place. I ordered a bed with side tables and dresser. The bed has issues and still does where the side always flips up. We called and they came to fix it once and then said - they cannot do anything about it. As for the dresser, Ryan - our sale rep, said it will be delivered on January, 2021. We never got it and on calling back, we’re told that it will be delivered in Feb. no news in February and WE call again and are told it will come in April. No news one more time. So we visit the store and the guy plays a quick blame game on his team and says your original sales rep is not here.. manager is not here... but gives us a date of 5/7/2021 when the shipment would arrive. No news till 5/10 so one more time, I call... and I am told it will be mid June! The person on the phone said she cannot take the complain and ‘I’ need to call back when the manager comes tomorrow! Unbelievable!! Don’t they have the responsibility of calling back? And where is this invisible manager every time I visit the store or call? Poor customer service, poor team work. They do not care about the customers... Stay away from This store.

This furniture store has extremely poor customer service. Possibly the worst I've dealt with. Do not do business with Modani if you expect to receive your furniture any time soon. They will not be clear on when the furniture will arrive. Their furniture is constantly on back order, often times for 6 months or more. The first time I ordered via Modani they cancelled my order without prior notification 6 weeks after I ordered the furniture. The second time I went to reorder (although I shouldn't have) I placed the order online and received confirmation that the order was being processed. They then sent me an email stating the furniture is on back-order and asked me how I wanted to proceed but never followed up and after a month of waiting I found the email. This is bad business. They made NO attempt to reach out again via email as a follow-up or via phone to confirm processing of the order. Their fulfillment capability is in NO WAY tied to their online retail store. What you see online is not a reflection (IN ANY WAY) of what's actually available to you inside of 6 to 9 months. STAY AWAY. I have not written a review in 10 years but this needed to be shared. I cannot comment on the quality of their products. I never received any.
