Deliberate attempt to make cancellation difficult and exploit customers
I cancelled my Moby subscription weeks ago, but they keep charging me. I’ve sent multiple emails to their support team. No reply, no acknowledgment, nothing. It’s incredibly frustrating to be ignored. This feels like a deliberate attempt to make cancellation difficult and exploit customers who don’t have time to chase support endlessly. Avoid Moby until they fix their cancellation process and start responding to customers.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience — and we want to assure you that there is absolutely no deliberate attempt to make cancellation difficult. Transparency and customer trust are extremely important to us. To clarify, Moby subscriptions can be canceled at any time through the same platform you used to sign up — whether that’s Apple, Google, Stripe, or our website. These payment providers handle billing directly, and for security reasons, cancellations and refunds must go through those same channels. Once canceled, your membership immediately stops auto-renewing. We respond to all messages sent to [email protected] within 24–48 hours. If you haven’t received a reply, it’s likely our message was filtered into your spam or promotions folder — something we’re working to improve with our email provider. We take claims of poor communication seriously, and we’d be happy to personally look into your case right away. Please reach out again at [email protected] so we can confirm your cancellation and ensure any extra charge is refunded promptly. Moby exists to help individual investors access high-quality research — and we’re committed to doing so with honesty and professionalism. — The Moby Team
