I was denied SSDI and SSI when I applied on my own. I felt so discouraged and hopeless, especially when I tried lawyer after lawyer and was told none would take my case, because they thought I would only be approved for SSI at most (which wouldn’t be enough money for them). I was in tears and had been on the phone for hours by the time I found Mindset. From the moment I called, I was treated with compassion, empathy, and respect. Adam did my…intake?…and he was so incredibly sweet. He explained everything to me thoroughly and made sure I understood. They agreed to take my case! It was such a relief. My case manager, Jennifer, always responded to me in a timely manner and answered any questions I had. They helped me file my first and only appeal towards the end of November ‘24, and - after providing only one e-mail with all of my medical updates since then around the first week of February or so - I had my approval by the end of March ‘25. And guess what? I was approved for SSDI too. I’m glad those other lawyers passed on me, because I would rather the money go to Mindset, even though it’s probably a drop in the bucket to anyone in the grand scheme of things. I 100% recommend them, and I plan on sharing their info with others I know in need of representation. Thank you so much Adam, Jennifer, Theodore Glass, and everyone else involved! You have no idea how much you’ve done for me - and I couldn’t be more grateful.

She didn’t judge me and she let me tell her my story without any questions she just let me vent. I believe this law office is going to represent me to its greatest ability.
