Metamask is the actual scammer. They stolen my money using some hacking bot and after seeing transaction account with money and address exist they told me they can't take any action against those frauds because its against their rules. AVOID METAMASK
Response from MetaMaskOct 26, 2023
We take action against fraud and scammers; but we aren't a legal agency, we're software developers. Reversing a transaction is not against our rules/policies, its simply not a feature of the technology. *No one* can reverse or block a blockchain transaction. We try to prevent scammers from harming our users, but we can't stop everything users may choose to do with their wallets. Reach out to our helpdesk: https://support.MetaMask.io and click the blue 'Start a Conversation' button. The bot will ask a few questions to help get you routed to the correct team in support.

Cuesta demasiado comprar, canjear y para enviarlo a otra wallet es aun mas caro, se necesitan 17dolares más solo para poder enviar 9 dolares, y para enviar 1 dolar necesitas 7 dolares demasiado caro sus tarifas
Response from MetaMaskOct 26, 2023

A wallet that censors real DeFi products and comes bundled with a bunch of analytics. No thanks!
Response from MetaMaskOct 26, 2023
We have to act in accordance with the laws of the jurisdictions we operate within. This includes blocking some services to sanctioned countries. https://support.metamask.io/hc/en-us/articles/4783916052251 By their inherent nature, blockchains are virtually impossible to censor. You can change your RPC and IPFS settings (here's a guide on how to: https://ethereum.org/en/developers/docs/nodes-and-clients/run-a-node/) Our analytics are anonymous. IP addresses are only used for the purpose of completing txns using our default endpoint provider (called Infura, we also run it. But we're working on a decentralized alternative: https://www.infura.io/resources/network/decentralized-infrastructure-network-early-access-program) Here's our privacy and data retention policy: https://consensys.io/privacy-policy Here's a more specific statement about some of the misinformation around that update last year: https://consensys.io/blog/privacy-policy-update If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out and chat with the team. We love transparency, and are happy to answer questions, help clarify our policies, etc: https://community.MetaMask.io/ or our Discord (https://discord.gg/Consensys)

All of my assets just magically disappeared in a series of transactions that took place throught the day, today 8-4-2023. The support chat is useless and they claim that somehow I made a mistake. I'm not much of an S.E.C fan, but crypto need to be axed as an America investment vehicle until crypto can start acting like a safe reasonable and responsible investment. The wallet sells you or exposes you to the scam, then works hard and efficiently to protect the scammer....I only lost 500 bucks, but it could have just as easily been 5 billion. The whole crypto wallet system is designed to do this on purpose. My advice is only buy from actual American based investment firms...Fidelity, Blackrock, ....if you go through MetaMask, Trust wallet, or any other bs fly by nighters its only a matter of time before they decide to take your money and then blame you for them taking your money. RUN!!!! If they don't outright steal your money, they will use the Ether "gas fee" to bleed you dry. It's insanity, it's disgusting, and as of now it's perfectly legal to be a wallet thief. Stay away from any company that's not a respected domestic company.

Few things to note: we dont collect gas fees (they pay the validators that run/maintain the network. Validators are public participants: https://support.metamask.io/hc/en-us/articles/4404600179227-User-Guide-Gas) We never have access to users accounts. We are constantly working to prevent scammers from harming our users, but we can't stop everything users may choose to do with their wallets. That's one of the pitfalls of self custody. Much like a physical wallet, i cant prevent someone from leaving it open in the middle of the street, only educate why thats probably a bad idea. Our HQ is in the US. (though we do have global presence and talent around the globe) Our security arm (called Diligence) have been utilized by many of the biggest names in finance and web3 to ensure their web3 protocols are secure. (you can see many of the audits by Googling "Consensys Diligence audit." Many of the biggest names in web3, rely on our security expertise) Reach out to our helpdesk: https://support.MetaMask.io and click the blue 'Start a Conversation' button. The bot will ask a few questions to help get you routed to the correct team in support.

Used to be a useful tool. Now the company behind the software has taken to censoring what users can and cannot transact with. Censorship does not exist in true DeFi. Avoid!
