Just had a very helpful interaction with Vlad. He's great! Very informative and helpful. My needs aren't expansive or advanced enough to test anyone, but I'm working on it. I've read several reviews here and on their website. It's difficult for me to understand the all of the criticism. I'm not judging, but my concern is very troubling. I lost some money to some d-bag out there scamming innocent people that aren't expecting it. But that was my bad. I'm not going to blame MetaMask. The wallet seems to do everything I expected it to do.

All of you crying its a scam, should not be in crypto, you just jumped into this with high ego thinking you understand how it works. metamask is a tool if you misuse it how is it metamasks fault? its an excellent app for people that know how to use it.

I feel like crypto became popular before it was ready for prime time. The tech can be rather complex, and the potential security pitfalls deep. Sounds like you've got a pretty good handle on it. But JIC you ever need a hand or have questions; we love to share our knowledge and experience: https://support.MetaMask.io > 'Start a Conversation' button. The bot will ask a few questions to help get you routed to the right team in support. Theres also the community forums (https://community.metamask.io) or Discord (https://discord.gg/consensys) - Please dont post any personal details like a wallet address or txn hash. (support chat is better for those conversations)

Metamask is like any other wallet out there. It works perfectly fine if you actually know what you are doing. Too many noobies are trying to crypto and take shortcuts. They don't learn how to do defi. They don't keep their stuff updated. Thus, here they are bombarding MM with negative reviews and every one I see it's the same story. The person either doesn't understand how to do defi or they made a user error. Many of which I experienced and learned from. I didn't rush to the web to leave a scathing review then say I'm switching to something else. You guys have got to start learning how to defi and how to avoid scams if you want to make money here. Stop taking shortcuts and begin learning. Or stick to centralized exchanges.

I wouldnt call fewer than 600 total reviews a bombing. (We get more than that in a month on Android reviews, where we have a 4.5/5 avg) But I hear what you're saying. Web3 can be pretty difficult, and there's a lot to learn. We have tried to build an extensive repository of articles that help get into the nitty gritty parts to make it clearer. (support.metamask.io) But we're also starting up sessions on Twitter/Discord where we go through some of the basics, answer questions, etc to help make the tech easier to understand. By the sound of it, the ones we're doing now might be a little too basic to teach you much, but send the crypto noobs you know our way; and we'll help show them the ropes. We're "teaching gma how to blockchain, securely." https://twitter.com/metamasksupport or https://discord.gg/consensys
