MerrellReviews of merrell.com

Only had the walking shoes 6 weeks , with limited use, and the heel tread has worn down and a large piece of tread has broken off on one foot . The heel tread on the other foot has also worn into a hole, and looks like its going the same way. They are being returned under warranty , this is the first time buying Merrell ,very disappointed !

I bought a hiking shoe and am in the process of trying to return it. I am returning it because the back heel part to the shoe hits your heal at a very low point and rubs constantly. This shoe is very ill-fitting on the heel but otherwise feels really comfortable. Now I am in the process of trying to exchange the hiking shoe for a hiking boot. The website only allows you the option to exchange for the same shoe no option to exchange for another product. I tried the chat and no one is ever available to chat. Now I am calling and have been on hold for 40 minutes and counting. I am about to give up for the day. This is a crazy bad service and I think I will never by another product form these people.

I have bought a lot of MerreII footwear in the past and have always been satisfied with the quality and comfort. However I am very disappointed in a pair of their walking shoes which I bought a couple of years ago. Shortly after buying them I became ill and subsequently have only been able to walk short distances. So the shoes have had little wear which is apparent in the appearance of the upper and soles. But the padding on the heel has completely worn away on one shoe which is causing blisters even on the short walks which I do. I feel that the quality is not acceptable especially given the price.

Online customer service for faulty shoes deficient. After two weeks shoes had hole at stitching from little use. Bought online so no comeback if faulty as they don’t acknowledge issue and say you need to wear them in. So unsatisfactory

Awful service - I ordered a pair of Jungle Mocs on 4/17/20. The charge to my debit card was immediate. They arrived on 4/23/20 and did not fit correctly. I received an RMA and mailed them back to Merrell on 4/24/20 requesting an exchange. The new pair did not arrive until 5/11/20 (2 1/2 weeks later) even though my return was received by Merrell on 4/28/20. That pair did not fit well either so I requested and RMA and returned them on 5/12/20 for a refund. They were received at Merrell on 5/18/20. I received an e-mail on 5/27/20 (9 days later) that my shoes were "successfully returned." To date, 6/2/20, no refund has appeared on my debit card and customer service said it should take another 3-5 days. Customer service keeps blaming it on Covid-19 staffing yet reviews like this go back way before. POOR POOR POOR for Merrell. I will never buy another Merrell product.

I ordered a gift card for my daughter, an E Card. Other companies have sent them within a few hours of receiving the order. This did not happen with Merrell. I tired to call them -continual busty signal. I looked for an email address - none on their website. I tried the chat - got one person after waiting 15 minutes. She assured me that I would receive it within 48 hours, emailed. That would have been yesterday. Tried calling again. Busy signal. Tried to chat. No one available. Of course, they were quick to put me on their e newsletter - I've received 4 emails from them about that, but no card. The charge has already cleared my bank. I am furious, frustrated and ready to do whatever I can to get my money back. I'll never "gift" this company again. Their lack of response tells me their customer service is overly busy, which also tells me their service is abysmal. Which I already know, and hopefully, now you do, too. Update: I was finally able to get the gift card info using messenger on their Facebook page. The gift card info was never sent to me via email. I sent the info to my daughter, she ordered her shoes. I hope they fit, I'd hate for her to have to deal with their customer service....

Ordered a pair of Grey/Black shoes on 5/19. Called on 5/20 to tell them that the order they had on my emial was colored "lichen" and wanted to change to grey/black like I ordered. Stayed on hold 25 minutes before someone answered the phone to inform me that I could not change the color once ordered. I told them to just cancel the order since it clearly states that the order has not shipped yet. I was told that they couldn't cancel the order because it was "too far along in the warehouse" to cancel. Ill just have wait to get the shoes, take them back to UPS and ship them back and be charged $5 for return fee. They are going to get some money, some way, somehow. Never again will I buy anything from Merrell in my entire life. One of the worst customer service experience Ive ever experienced.

I ordered a pair of shoes in early April, was charged for them. Checked the status and order was never shipped.I emailed customer service twice, received no response, called numerous times and was unable to reach anyone. Finally I did and was informed item was not available. Rep. said I would receive a credit on my account. Never did. Emailed again and a Rep said "sorry for the confusion", account should be credited today(that was last week), I still have not received a credit but constantly receive promo ads from Merrell on my FB page and other resources. Poor response time and customer service follow thru. I will not order with Merrell ever again.
