My cold weather Merrill(Polartec waterproof) started out the warmest fall/winter shoe I’ve owned. After 2 weeks of wear, mostly shopping, the shoes and soles began to peel off and disintegrate. I’ve come to the conclusion that they where stored in direct sun for a long time, Merril might be blameless.

Great customer service from Merrell. I had a problem with a pair of Annex Trak shoes. They were replaced with no hassle, just a few emails and photos to EU Merrell Support. Well done and thanks.

Besides having the worst customer service at the store in Warringah mall, the Boots are the WORST, got them 1 year and 3 months ago for a hiking trip that never did due COVID and the soil detach, only used these for walks around home NOTHING with rough terrain. Went there to complain since they recommended these as THE BEST and most durable and the "manager" didn't do anything, can't believe spend so much money on these, probably the ones from KMart would have last longer than the "super tought/waterproof" useless Merrel.

Two years in a row I got Merrell hiking shoes as a Christmas present.I use them for casual hiking.Both times they never made it a full year. The first year the soles separated from the shoe,this year the stitching is coming loose at 4 different places.I’ve had better luck with cheaper hiking shoes.Don’t buy these shoes.

I bought a pair of Merrell boots, looked like excellent quality, for over €100. But after less than 100km, the stitching went in the same place in both shoes. About two thirds up, on the inside, the stitching between the sole and the lacing. Unbelievably bad workmanship here. Is this just a case of a once excellent company cutting corners?

Absolutely awful/non existent customer service. Bought 2 pairs of their shoes this year and both had differing lengths laces. They don’t supply replacements so I have had to spend considerable time sourcing them myself. Merrel have offered to pay for the laces for the shoes bought from them (big deal) but I had to contact Pavers about the pair I bought from them. Pavers could not have been more helpful. Although they can’t get replacements they have offered a big discount against the price of the shoes. Poor show Merrel.
