The dealership had my car for a month, trying to work with the warranty department that would not budge. I ended up paying out of pocket $1800. Will not recommend this warranty service.

WARNING!!!!! HORRIBLE warranty company.
WARNING!!!!!
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
I purchased a warranty through US Automotive Protection/Merit, just off what the Protection Specialist Jared Turner told me.
I didn't have any paperwork or policy in front of me. They tell you what it is and you decide from there. I told him I didn't want to deal with another 3rd party warranty company.
He told me something I've never heard. He said, They are a Dealer Direct Warranty company. They deal directly with the dealerships. You have the option to go to other shops also but if you choose to go to the dealership, they'll have all your info. Untrue!
My deductible was $100. That's all I would have to pay, if my car went to the shop under a covered problem.
I told him, if I had the full amount, I would pay the warranty policy in full, which came to $3,555. I'm so glad I didn't have the full amount.
My car developed steering problems. The Nissan dealership found it the be the steering rack. I filed a claim. Parts and labor was cover by the warranty. Here's where everything went sideways.
Dealer quoted the price for the rack a little over $1500, warranty company said the price they see is a little over $1100. I had to cover the outstanding balance of $466.07.
Yeah, so much for the $100 deductible.
Dealership replaced the part and found out it needed a new high pressure line. They called the warranty company.
US Automotive Protection/Merit denied the claim.
I called them. My claim specialist Kyle told me, they cover the major part but don't cover the lines the major part needs in order to work.
Line cost $488. I had to cover the price. So much for the $100 deductible that I was told is all I would have to pay.
Now I'm out of pocket right at $1000 with the warranty policy.
Dealership found another problem, warranty company denied the claim and said, "My policy reached it's MAX payout." WOW!!!
How does that work. They're charging me $3555 for the policy and it's max out is a little over $1800. Jared Turner didn't tell me that.
I cancelled the policy immediately. They got me for a few monthly payments. Just think if I would've paid the $3555 total.
Guarantee you they wouldn't be trying to send me no money back.
WARNING!!!!!!!!
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY
Look at their reviews.
They are a 3rd party warranty company. I don't care what name or phrase they want to call it.

You drag oit the approval process too…
You drag oit the approval process too slowly. Then when you approve repair its not a full fix. Consequently i was forced to tow car back to dealership 4 days later to get thr second solenpod replaced. Both should have been done on first visit.

I was without my car for more than 7…
I was without my car for more than 7 days because I was a new customer with Merit Administration. The delay was not my fault; it was yours. The job took about 9 calendar days, when it should have taken no more than 2. Not happy.

Worst warranty company denied my claim…
Worst warranty company denied my claim even sending in complete service history and now having to pay out of pocket even though I paid over $3,000 for this extended warranty, this company is a fraud.

They accepted my money for over a year and when my car needed maintenance over $1,500 they declined it with saying I missed an oil change that was between 3,000-6,000 miles when I had proofed that I did my own oil change. Now no supervisor is willing to talk to me instead they are too busy. This is not the service I received when I first joined this company. I want to stay professional but this company can crash and die. Don’t do business with them. RUN

I decided to renew my extended warranty…
I decided to renew my extended warranty again, cause it had expired, only because I never had to pay out of pocket. WHY NOW!!!! When I asked to get the same warranty as before. I just got my car out the shop from dealership and had to pay $200 out of pocket. I am not a happy customer. 😡
