It took over 30 days for my cat to get familiar with this litter box. I am cleaning this box daily, more than a traditional box. My tips are as follows. 1. Rub baking soda on the walls daily so poop/pee chunks don’t stick to the walls. Poo fell on my cat’s head and took me awhile to get her to use the box again. 2. Put sit/clean time at more than 30 minutes. 3. Use Fresh Step Clumping kiddy litter. 4. Empty the trash bin every other day otherwise it dumps back in the box. I asked for a refund at least five times and can’t get a return label or address so I am stuck with this box. Buyer beware.

I bought 2 different boxes and this one clumps like crazy and sticks to the side. I tried different settings but so far no success. I'm gonna give it another week and update.

Cannot fit one piece. Does not show on instructions and afraid to proceed.

Do NOT buy this machine — and probably avoid this company altogether. I purchased the Meowant MW-LR01 litter box directly from Meowant. It arrived in January, and by the end of the month, it was already problematic. The unit leaks urine from the litter area, which puddles underneath the drum. Before I realized what was happening, my house reeked of stale cat urine — and I couldn’t understand why, because I had this “amazing” new litter box that was supposed to solve all of my problems. I assumed it was a one-time issue and cleaned it thoroughly, but the leaking has continued consistently from January through now (May). My cat is small and fully inside the box when using it — the problem is clearly a design flaw. I contacted Meowant under their advertised satisfaction guarantee and one-year warranty, but their response has been anything but helpful or accountable. We're now 21 emails in. I’ve sent photos, videos, and detailed explanations. They’ve told me to change the cleaning cycle timing and try different litters — I’ve done both. I’ve tried multiple types of litter, including options from “best of” lists and several expensive brands. Nothing has fixed the issue. Most recently, they asked me to film my cat using the litter box to prove she’s using it "correctly." Honestly, regardless of how a cat uses the box, urine should not leak out of it. This product was supposed to make life easier. Instead, it's cost me time, money, and a great deal of frustration. I’m completely done with this company. Do yourself a favor — save your money, avoid the headache, and steer clear of this litter box and this brand. Edit: I see that this box is no longer for sale on their website. They obviously know there are problems, and still will not stand behind their product.

My cat does not use it

Unfortunately, my cats will not use this litter box. I followed all the instructions for set up and transitioning. The only times my one cat used it, she ended up peeing half in and half out of the box. She has never had an issue with doing this in her other box and hasn't had an issue since I stopped using the smartbox.

It does work.

Multiple problems. Cannot use. Does not finish a complete cycle. No one from service responds.
