Very slow delivery. Have still not received product.

I've had my box for 3 days. First day it worked great, one of my cats used it within 10 mins, another within 30. Day 2 it had a clump of "dirty" litter stuck to the back. Now on day 3 it has a very large clump of "dirty" litter stuck to the back, but it also had 3+ clumps in the bin and has not ran the dump cycle. It's dumb, but it seems the only way to clean this is to unplug it and let it rerun the home cycle. Otherwise, so far even with my issues I don't have to scoop litter. So I guess I'm good, deserves a 3 but not higher but still ultimately probably worth the money.

The litter box fits in my litter box cabinet and I like having the option to choose how long I want to litter box to wait before it rakes begins to rake. Still, the rake is not collecting all the waste and I have to repeatedly go behind it to collect the rest of the waste it is leaving behind. There are times when I check, and waste is stuck to the rake because it is not being disposed of correctly. My cats do like the litter box, though, since they seem to prefer it over the LR4, but I think due to spacing, it does cause a lot of mess when they kick around the litter, which requires me to vacuum up all the time. Another feature that I like is notifying me when each cat uses the litterbox and how long they were in there. This is such a convenient feature to help me track and make sure all of my cats are using the restroom. I have not cleaned it yet but it looks very easy to clean, and having the rake being able to seperate is a very good plus.

Honestly a great product, but when it comes to replacing the whole barrel for a cut in the liner (cats nails) it’s pretty disappointing. First you have to buy the whole part for $70 and it’s legitimately never in stock. I waited 4 months with a ripped liner during this time the cat box was not usable, so I just replaced the whole box. Not ideal considering the base (most important part) was in perfect condition.

Shipping is fast, product not the best. When cleaning it drops litter underneath the litter box, poop smears even having the cleaning set for 15 minutes the cat leaves and the pee sits in the corners of the litter box itself. I even bought the Meowant litter thinking it would help and save money on litter and time cleaning.

I purchased the litter box, model SC02, directly from Meowant. My dissatisfaction is with my customer experience with Meowant. NOT ABOUT THE PRODUCT. I wanted to return it and after several emails with a lot of frustration in between we managed to work it out. I wish the SC02 had been large enough for my cats. I purchased this specifically because it had an important feature, a low step up for my cats. It was too small for my cats so I gave it to my granddaughter who is thrilled with it. It’s quiet, works as it’s advertised and appears to be a very good product. Based on my granddaughter’s experience I would recommend this litter box. If you would like to purchase the Meowant Automatic Litterbox get it from Amazon. I think the return or exchange issue would have been handled differently than it was dealing directly with Meowant.
