Meowant sent me a used litter box with cat hair, paper towel and some dried cat poop stuck to the base. I asked for a refund and customer service advised me to try cleaning the litter box. 0 stars if possible.

Bought this August 19th. Order gets delivered 23rd. 30-day trial begins. One week in, I noticed that it takes over 10 minutes for the cycle to finish because of frequent and long stops. Urine also leaks from it. I reached out on the 3rd of September about the rotation issue. And September 11th about the leaking urine issue (because it happened again). Meowant team tells me the rotation problem might be because of the drum and that they will be sending me a new one. They did not give me a direct answer about the leaking urine situation leaving me to believe that it's something that happens so they don't feel the need to address. By September 11th, so 18 days in of the 30-day trial the new drum arrives. I told them I would like to restart my 30 days trial because they sent me a faulty product and was told that they can't. This is absurd and terrible service. I requested to return the product because at this point, I don't know if I can fully test this product if I only have 12 days left to try it out. That's less than two weeks to decide whether it's a good product or not. I still have my Litter Robot 3 which hasn't given me any issues since I bought it in 2019! I just wanted to try something different because I wanted to downsize. Though SC01 is slightly smaller, for it to have so many issues already it's not worth it. I would not recommend this product and would splurge a bit more on Litter Robot 3. Whiskers's (Litter Robot company) customer service is amazing and you can call them directly. - Update: They sent me a replacement drum that had a crack in it. Just terrible company. Instead of sending me a properly functioning drum in good condition and letting me restart the trial, they would rather waste money sending me another replacement or giving me back a full refund. Who is the brain behind this company?

We did our best to assist by sending a replacement drum as soon as the rotation issue was identified. We understand your concerns about the remaining trial period, and we're sorry our policy did not meet your expectations in this case. Terrible does not work well now it doesnt even rotate after cat gets out i have to manually push the button, yes child lock is off. Been back and forth with service and they keep asking for videos and photos. Also had lights blicking took over hour to fix and then 2 days later same thing. So over this catbox going back to regular one and by the way only had for maybe 6 months.

Have had 2 boxes set up for about 2.5 weeks now and my 3 (2 Maine coons and a Siamese mix) refuse to use them. Did as instructed and downgraded to one regular litter box and did not clean it. Still refused to use the Meowant boxes, instead decided to just go outside the regular box until I cleaned it.
