A couple of months ago, I switched from another automatic litter box to Meowant and so far, we are loving it! The sides of the box are hard plastic, which is durable. In our previous robot, the sides are a flexible rubber type material and my cats scratched holes in the sides! My cats haven’t seemed to notice the change much at all and use it with no problems. My only complaint is that the lights are not super obvious since it’s a small light on the bottom front of the machine. I would appreciate a brighter or flashier light to let me know when the drawer is full or the littler is low.

So far, the experience is good+. My cat seems to be doing well entering and leaving, and not avoiding the litter catcher mat, now. The only problem I'm having is connecting to the app to check on via my phone. I have done all of the steps, and get to the last step to connect to the Device, and it fails. I have checked the ID number on the unit and it matches, and my wifi id matches. I'm not sure when it suggested I check the password (for the wifi?). I have not attempted to contact anyone, yet. Have had little time to do that, or the timing was wrong. So far, I'm doing okay with manual, but would like to get the wifi connected.

I am very appreciative that the meow system was on sale for 50% off! It seemed to be quite easy to order the materials that I wanted Period. I did find the whole shipping experience to be a bit disjointed. We now have the litter and the plastic kit, but still have not received the bags. I did receive notification that the litter was coming, but not the whole kit, which arrived yesterday. I am still not heard about the bags. I personally think it might be easier if they all came at once, somehow boxing them all together. We have not been able to use the product yet because of the missing bags. Just wanted to add that we found the bags in the back of the kitty litter system system, so now we are good to go and can set it up this evening. So it was a good idea to put it in with the whole system and I am thrilled to have them now. Thank you.

We l♥️ve our new litter box. My old guy needed a large opening, with low entry. This is the model to choose. The only reason this is a 4, instead of a 5 star is the weight mechanism is not working correctly and there isn't a way to recalibrate. So minor still a note for the next ungraded.

Update: May 23, 2025. Although the response time was delayed, once they did determine that a new part was needed, it shipped out and I received it fairly quickly. It is now working properly with the manual buttons, and I am very pleased with the Meowant SC-01, thank you. I would recommend that the customer support center forward customer's emails to the service department so that the customer doesnt have to provide the same info again in a new email. Contacted meowant on April 26th for non functional manual buttons on the litterbox, no solution provided at all. Days pass before any solution, and have been deferred to contact another department. It is now May 10th with the 30 day warranty just days away, and all they've kept asking for is the order number and device number, and video, which were all provided already. No phone number to call just an email to wait for and not one email with any instructions or what they will do. Makes me wonder if they are just stretching out the days so that it passes the warranty period.

My cats love this litter box! It holds a lot less litter which alarmed me at first, but I just add a bit every couple days when I change the trash bag and give it a wipe. It does miss smaller clumps once in a while, but that’s easy to scoop out manually. I like being able to see which of my cats are using it although the weights aren’t super accurate (no big deal). Two of my cats are close in weight, but it did turn out helpful when one was having tummy troubles because I knew which ones to watch and then was able to get the issue addressed more easily with my vet. 1 of my 4 is a mega orange chonk. He fits in there surprisingly well and it’s his favorite litter box (1 Meowant & 5 refular boxes). He does like to slap the side while it cleans, but he could just be telling it good job.

I like that it's self-cleaning and you can put it on an automatic timing schedule. However I have noticed that some of the pee that doesn't get clumped gets caught on the screen sifter. Overall it is a really good product.

I love the sale and being able to get everything I need. I just don’t like that it doesn’t arrive at the same time.
