Just got it set up. The app was a little difficult. Now To get my cats to use lol

Update: After speaking with the technical team and customer service we found the base was defective. They sent me a new base. Now it is working perfectly. It has not gotten stuck once since replacing the base. I am now just figuring out which litter works best. Using for 2 cats and changing the waste bin 2-3 times a week with clumping cat litter. This product is not working. The drum gets stuck every time it is used. I have done all of the trouble shooting that CS has suggested with no results other than a flashing blue light and it being perpetually stuck.

So far so good I only had it a few days. We have six cats so far only two of them have used it but it seems to be working okay

The company needs to find a new shipper. It is terrible how fedx treats your packages. They are always late and crushed boxes. I watched a Fedx truck come through our subdivision with the back door open with packages falling onto the road and he never stopped.

The box is quiet when cleaning and it’s not too heavy to maneuver. Both of these are a plus for me. My cat is on the larger size and 14 years old. He has missed the box a few times and I’m hoping it’s just an adjustment to the new box issue for him.

The SC02 replaced a Litter Robot 3 (LR3) that eventually needed maintenance we didn't want to put money into. The $310.00 coupon helped with the decision to purchase the SC02 at $269.00. Wouldn't have paid $579.00 for the SC02 or $549.00 for a LR3. Feel the $269.00 was even pretty high. The ordering process through to the quick delivery all went very well and would give 5 stars. Really like the SC02. Only reason for the 4 stars is for the bits of litter that are often left after the cleaning both in main litter area and behind the filter screen. Here are the LR3 /SC02 comparisons: SC02 PROS - LR3 is HUGE. SC02 is much more streamlined LR3 needed entry stair ramp. SC02 low entry is so much easier on the cats, esp. our older one. SC02 is VERY quiet. LR3 is not. SC02 litter guard is a nice feature but, we had to remove it. Our 19lb cat was fine but, our old 7lb cat struggled with it. Didn't see a real big difference in scattered litter. The included "pouched" mat is very helpful in trapping litter. I just "pour" it back into the SC02 then give it a quick vacuum with the dust buster. Strewn litter has been contained in that area only. LR3 wasn't as effective, the stairs and rug we added captured litter but, it also tracked in areas outside the litter room. LR3 - Could smell the litter from the beginning, was really worse than the "manual" setup. The SC02 has been great and I don't really think the deodorizing gel is the difference. Gel pack was very strong the first day or so, and I didn't care for the scent, now I don't even smell it so thinking like most of those products, it isn't really effective or necessary. Phone App - Get a chuckle by the "cat in the toilette" notice. It is nice to see when they are using it, especially to keep an eye on our 16 year old who's been showing her age a bit. It's also nice to keep and eye on their weight. Cons for the SC02 - Allow consumers a couple weeks (not 5 days) to setup and/or work out any "kinks" before asking and following-up multiple times for a review. Sorry, was a bit annoying. LR3 seems to be more mechanically sophisticated and emptied the dirty litter very well. SC02 always leaves bits of waste in main litter area and behind the screen. Was also leaving clumps stuck to the ceiling but, that hasn't been an issue since increasing the cleaning time to 20 minutes after cat leaves. Didn't use the app on the LR3 . The SC02 app set-up was frustrating, either couldn't find unit or said connection wasn't 2.4 GHz, which it is. Kept "re-installing" and resetting router and it finally worked. The app and book options don't match but, figure that's a timing issue between written manual and current app version. The app shows weight of a cat not identified, which isn't the case. Guess that's a quirk with the unit's scale. Indifferent Items: SC02 access to replace dirty litter bag is easy to get to and change but, is in the back of the unit, which limited my placement. The LR3's pull out tray was easy, only slight inconvenience was having to move the stair ramp out of the way. The dumped dirty litter collection areas on both units get litter outside of the bag area. The SC02 has the cover flap and that always has to be wiped off. Dust buster and cleaning wipes ease clean-ups but, it was a little easier with the LR3's collection area. Overall though, we much prefer and would recommend the SC02 over the LR3.

My whole order didn't show up it said 3 to 5 business days and I am still waiting on the litter the liners and the deodorizer for my litter box. I got the litter box and it's great just didn't get everything else.
