Honestly this litter box has cut down the work and for the most part I am happy with my purchase. My only issues with it are namely it’s not as compatible with multiple cats or cats that use it alot as I had hoped. I still have to empty the bag about every other day or it will start to smell. I also wish you could add more litter or have a deeper tray as my cat likes to pee over near the side along the edge so when the box cycles it doesn’t get the clump along the edge. I tried adding more litter but with too much it doesn’t cycle properly. My only other issue is the screen holes are too big for the litter I use I think because it allows too much extra litter to filter through and it’s expensive. I use tofu litter. Even with this issues I does cut down the work and the cats did take to it right away.

I already owned a preowned Meowant SC-O2 so when I was ready to replace one of my other cat litter boxes I tried to find another preowned one but nothing was available so decided to go on Meowant’s site and luckily the company was offering a great sale so I bought it. I love this self clean cat litter machine. It’s so easy to clean and maintain. I love that I can use the app to easily setup the cleaning cycles and love how easy it is to empty the waste bin. I had another self clean one prior to the Meowants and it was overly large and bulky, difficult to move and inconvenient to clean and to boot, it stopped working after exactly a year and I had paid double for that one. I have 4 cats ranging from large to small and they all use it very comfortably. I highly recommend. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the app will not allow me to have more than one device setup at a time. When I add a device it removes the previous one. If anyone has any idea as to how to have both or if I’m doing something wrong, feel free to comment. TIA!

So. Its cool and works but is gross. The poop sticks on the grate probably because it runs too soon after the cat uses it. Does the app let us set delays? Or it needs to self cover the grate, and rock to cover in litter better. Idk.

So far it was easy. BUT there was no communication about delivery. It just showed up on my front porch. Had I known what day, I would have made arrangements for it not to be sitting out for a long time.

I like the robot, very quiet, easy to empty, and cats seem to like it. The low entry point is key for our tripod that has mobility issues. Issue I have right now is a failed rubber liner that is causing a mess under the robot. I am not sure if a replacement liner is an option, still waiting on a response from Meowant. Update: Meowant has reached out and offered to send a new drum. Hopefully this one will hold up better, we will see. Seems like providing a way to replace the liner may be a good solution.

I contacted the service department by email (they don’t have a phone number that I could find) because the rubber liner in the base of my unit had a tear and I wanted to order a replacement. My response email was that they were unavailable for multiple days because they were attending a festival (the whole company?). It was several days after the last day of the festival date that was given but I got a response that the liner is not replaceable and I would have to purchase a whole new drum. (FYI- I did check their website for this but they don’t list any replacement parts and I reached out to them only because it was suggested to me in a Google search). They added a link for the drum and I was able to order a replacement and it took eight days to get here. Overall not a horrible experience but could definitely have been better.
