I am writing on behalf of my 95 yr old father and what i observed. I have to say the underwear does work. His clothing stayed dry even though the pad was soaked and the underwear kept him dry. So the issues are that the underwear is pretty much good for leaks and not bladder voiding. Also not good for elders as you have to do rinsing after the leakage, washing in a bag and then handing to dry. For elders i would definitely recommend Depends rather than Menvault underwear. But the bottom line is that they do work and provide great protection.
