The longer drying time comes from the same absorbent layers that keep you dry. If the guard slips, lay it flat and centred under the first inside layer at the front, where the snug fit holds it best. A tip that helps: slide the guard flat under the first inside layer at the front, centred, and adjust it once the briefs are on; the snug fit then keeps it in place.
