The website was easy to navigate, and I found information about all the available beds so that I could make an informed decision. Omar and Ivan were helpful, and I received information in a timely manner. My order came in good condition. It actually arrived a little sooner than I thought it would, right before my mother got home from rehab, on the same day. The bed was needed, and is working as expected. Unfortunately on my behalf, there was miscommu ication after speaking to someone at Medshopdirect. I didn't recall seeing options for install delivery or curbside. My apologies, Our member stated that there was no mattress, but a topper. However, our member stated that the bed is a beautiful bed. We do not like curbside delivery either - however, it was selected at the time of your order. Assembly is available but is a separate charge. Usually it cost us $500 to $700 and we cap it at $399. As a small business we unfortunately can not offer Free Assembly, we do however always give the option to add it and we would have been more than happy to arrange it for you. With curbside delivery, most likely they leave the order outside, sometimes we can get lucky and they bring it inside but unfortunately we can only fully control it if White Glove Assembly was added and on your order it was not.
We also want to point out that your review states the item was left on the patient's bed, yet also states a mover had to remove it from the lawn. We're not sure how both can be true. I know that your order involved shipping it to a client of yours, and I think it's important to gather all of the facts first. Was it another company you hired and then they brought it inside and put it on the patients bed? Because our delivery was left at the Front Door. We did not bring it inside.
Regarding the mattress - a hospital bed mattress is typically 6" thick and looks very different from a traditional topper home mattresses. A topper, by contrast, is a thin gel overlay. These are two very distinct products. Our records and packing slip confirm a mattress was delivered.
We were never contacted about any discrepancy. Had we been, we would have absolutely looked into it and made it right. Its a simple as us sending a replacement. Mistakes happen so from our side its not a big deal to send a replacement and sort out the details with FedEx or UPS after. However looking closer at the packing slip, the mattress was sent out. At anytime please send us a Photo of what you received ([email protected]) and of course if it wasnt what you ordered, you'll simply just get a free replacement.
With all that said, it's unfortunate this went straight to a public review without giving us the chance to resolve it first.

Great Customer Service- great product!
The customer service especially has been outstanding. I worked with Omar throughout the process of buying, delivery, and adjustments of the ICare bed. He responded immediately throughout the process whenever I had a question, addressed issue promptly and made me feel heard. The whole team worked together. I appreciated this support as it had been a difficult time for us but receiving the kind and professional support made the transition to this hospital bed easier. The product -ICare bed (cal king size) and mattresses are terrific as well! Although one of the bed frames arrived damaged from the mail- Omar had a new bed frame made and delivered.
