Purchased a CS7 bed
Purchased a CS7 bed. I made the purchase and immediately signed up for an account with them. I called their customer service to see if they could associate my purchase of the bed with my account so that I could check the status of the order online, because there is no way to check unless you have an account. They told me there was no way that they could have the order show under my account, but that they would send me email updates when the bed shipped. Well, a week went by and no emails. I called back and they told me that the bed would be shipped to a delivery/setup company near me since I paid for delivery and setup, but they assured me that they would send me an email when it was shipped. Never received an email. Several days later, finally got a call from the local (over 100 miles away) delivery company who told me the earliest they could deliver was another 7 days. I live just south of Nashville, Tennessee. The delivery company is in Knoxville, Tennessee. As far as the bed, it is great. And, fortunately, the delivery guys were very good once they got there. With technology today it should be a very easy process for a company to associate an order with an account even though the order was placed seconds prior to creating an account. Not having that ability is inexcusable. Perhaps they need to reexamine the abilities of their e-commerce provider. Lastly, Med Mart should determine the cause of the failure to send shipping notification to me as promised. Again, a process that should be automatic in any e-commerce site today.
