It’s rather scandalous what is issued as “a hospital bed” for residential use by Medicare/insurance. It’s a brown metal bed with a crank. The likes of which hasn’t been in a hospital since polio was rampant. No amount of out- of-pocket private-pay can find and buy what any sane person recognizes as a hospital bed. Manufacturers sell only to hospitals , hospices and nursing homes. It’s awful for patients and caregivers alike. I made dozens of calls, talked to many home healthcare providers and the brown metal piece of junk is it. When it was delivered I was sure it was a mistake. I thought this cannot possibly be right. it isn’t, but that’s how it is. The last place I called was MedMart. Last because I’d had bad experiences with sales people there over the years. I got lucky when a personable, knowledgeable caring man picked up the phone and indeed, MedMart sells refurbished genuine multifunctional hospital beds. Ask for Kurt.

The hospital bed and table that I ordered was just as described. My mom loves her new bed and her new table. The bed came sooner than I expected! Great service and products.
