Simply too big and not enough support staff. Established patient , can’t get a nurse or Dr. via phone Friday afternoon.

Mayo Rochester has many resources and talented doctors how ever as a mobility patient I found the entire place a challenge. If your anxiety isn't peaking by the time you drive the construction project and get parked, it will be after you complete your cross country track meet to get to where you need to be. My experience from 6 Monday chemo treatments was as follows. Arrive at 730am and walk 20 minutes from the parking garage to the Hilton building for blood draw. Usually done with blood by 8am. Walk 8 minutes to 7th floor of Gonda building and wait until 10 minutes to 9am to sign in for urine sample. Usually done by 930. I wait in the waiting area until 11am at which time I sign in for a 1pm chemo treatment. Then I wait in the reception area until 115 to 130 when they call me back for my treatment. Treatment is done and I am back in my car approximately 230pm. They only draw blood at one building and collect urine in a different building. Lots of distance for mobility patients. They do provide transport via wheelchair if you want additional wait times in your day. Someday I walk it and other days I will get a transport for the initial long first appointment and walk the rest for exercise. By treatment 4 my stamina declined and it really became a challenge. Something to consider, your mileage may vary.

The ST Marys Childrens Hospital is a very competant hospital, however... My grandchild was diagnosed with Cancer and my son asked if there were any alternatives to the chemo they wanted to start immediately. They came back with the aggressive response of "You will start the chemo within 7 days or Child Protective Services will be on your doorstep". They have been very nasty to deal with and told us not to bother with a second opinion. They are a good hospital but there are many more ranked higher. Stay clear of this institution.

I had major headache problems. Mayo doc ordered a ct of my head. Results showed a brain tumor (meningioma) ok no real problem. MRI done W contrast was recommended. Per the doc no problem. My problem is that when I had A previous CT of my head in 2022 it showed the same meningioma and at that time no one reported this to me. All of this is downplayed as no big deal by them at Mayo . It is a big deal to me and I should have been informed.

Every year its the same thing. I schedule my preventative care visit with my doctor, which always includes a blood workup to check lipids, metabolic panel and/or blood sugar. Every year billing refuses to submit with the correct code for preventative care. They always give some reason for a sinlge word they found in the doctors notes that means its not a preventative visit. Doesnt matter how careful my doctor is about what he puts in his notes. The billing department always finds that single word. Not even a sentence or paragraph. Just a single word. Every year it's a different word. They get their money so whats the problem with submitting an appointment that is scheduled as "preventative" and the blood work ordered at the same time to be submitted to insurance as such regardless of the dictors notes. It's always the same appointment and blood work ordered every year approximately the same month. Its not hard to figure out its preventative.

Mayo Clinic work with people’s with no problems they don’t take risks that’s why good numbers in transplants I don’t recommend this institution,talk about my liver transplant l waste my time with mayo clinit ., l went to Jackson memorial hospital an l have my new liver in 6 months thank Jackson l was forgotten for Mayo Clinic they don’t called me no more,bad people Dr Yataco throughout me like a dog

I hurt my back in mid-May. I looked back at my online and messages and it shows that I contacted them on May 22nd. I have been waiting and dealing with them for over a month, phone calls, messages on the portal, etc. I finally got them to get me an appointment with the pain clinic but it’s not scheduled until July 7th. I don’t understand why it has to take so long to get seen. Sometimes I think they just don’t work very hard to accommodate patients because there is very little competition for our insurance dollars up here in the north woods. We had lived in Milwaukee for 33 years before retiring and, because there were lots of different health systems to choose from, they worked harder to accommodate the patients.

It was below average experience. They always recommend to get vaccinated with the covid mRNA technology. It is gene therapy, not a true vaccination. Watch "Died Suddenly" on the Stew Peter's network on Rumble. I was once yelled at by a doctor because "I was sick too much." Isn't that your job, to treat sick people. I've had asthma for most of my life and now I have Fibromyalgia. Go to Helpcare, they at least listen to you. Today I had an issue going on and they got me in right away. They care. They take the time to listen, not just say, 'it's all in your head'. I do not recommend Mayo Clinic for that reason.
