How to ruin a great product? Change legitimate place names to suck up to an authoritarian felon, rapist, pathological liar, and triple-bigamist. “Do No Evil” is such a joke. I loved Maps, but now I’m done and moving on until they fix these place names.

Google‘s „do no evil“ has become worse than meaningless.

Incorrect place names. There is no such place as "Lake Ontario (Lake America)". The correct name is Lake Ontario. There is no such place as "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America). The correct name is Gulf of Mexico. The US president does NOT have the jurisdiction to change place names anywhere except in the USA itself. Outside of the US just the correct, internationally recognised name should be used, No brackets just the correct name.

I just downloaded Mapquest because they aren't a bunch of suckups that print misinformation and fake names of places that have been established for hundreds of years. Apparently you care more about one man and not your users. Do better!

Won't use Maps Google.
