Lake America does not exist and should not be included in your map as this is misleading. Same goes for Gulf of America. Maps need to accurate in name and geographic. Throwing in new random names because some nutty President signs a piece of paper is not good enough, there needs to be an international consensus relevant to those areas that agrees for the name change of any area. Maps need to be a neutral and accurate as possible. After using your maps for years I will be using other sources as I cannot support this idiocy.

To whom it concerns, What is happening to the Top management, that the serious decision to change the name of a location, that name of which has existed for centuries, to an algorithmic bureaucracy? That decision to show Lake America to US residents and Lake Ontario to Canadian residents is so absurd, ridiculous, and laughable. What is the part of humans in a decision that affects Humans? You're despicable.

I am disappointed Google Maps acquiesced to the belligerent whims of Mr. Trump in renaming Lake Ontario.

Inaccurate location naming in an effort to curry favor with certain administrations. There is no Lake America, which cannot be changed by Presidential fiat, dictat, or hissy-fit. There remains, however, a Lake Ontario; Google would be well advised to remember that.

Google Maps used to be great BUT, a lot of my reviews have been filtered even when they follow policies, and sometimes reviews will get approved and then after a few months they will get rejected, I'm already struggling to keep my reviews up to 3 months old because of Google. Another frustrating thing is that there are a lot of weird glitches and frustrations on the platform like the map acting up or photos/files not appearing in the photo picker when I add photos to a business. Still great for adding places, getting directions and sometimes adding photos, but the review thing can be annoying, especially when they follow the policies and you're trying your very best to let others find the info they need to a location.

Guidance is fine but the speed limit notification is garbage. Just bought a Volvo that uses Google maps and as it has the function to limit speed at the limit but if the speed limit changes to a lower wrong one, which I does a great deal, the car brakes unexpectedly, causing fury to drivers behind. I now have to manually turn it off every journey as I have had enough of the deserved abuse. It’s dangerous and possibly illegal. I said yesterday but it is EVERY JOURNEY.
