MagnaFlow catalyst converters suck! Now keep in mind, this is for a California compliant CATs and fitted to a 2004 Subaru WRX. I mention that first because California has a ridiculously marked up price on all their CA. Compliant CATs. I paid $2500 for two CATs. The other issue is Subaru uses very high tolerance OEM CATs for their cars and the MagnaFlow unit just can’t compete with the OEM CAT. So your car is gonna throw check engine lights and have several codes. Nothing but drama. The warranty on the MagnaFlow units are only replacement, they will not refund your money. They have been nothing but headaches as a company to deal with. In California, it’s a monopoly. You have very few choices other than OEM. Buyer beware, I’d go elsewhere.

I ordered an exhaust line with 2nd catalytic converter for my 2014 Mazda CX-5 Awd. It took one month and a half to be received, but it does fit well. The only issue is that the two provided gaskets do not fit, you need to buy oem or generic ones like Walker. The line does not rubs against anything, no check engine light and built quality is superior to cheaper alternatives.

I ordered a direct fit catalytic converter for a 1994 Ford Ranger. When I recieved the product 1 of the press in studs are pressed in, one press in stud is just rolling around in the packaging box that has damaged threads, and 1 just completly missing. I ordered studs because I wanted to install the cat the same day instead of going through customer support and wait 1 week for a stud. I went to install it and the front of the cat was smaller than normal and the exhaust exiting the engine had a pipe sticking out, which was blocking the new cat from getting installed. I had to cut off the pipe sticking out of the exhaust and went to install the rear of the cat and found out the donut gasket didn't even look like in good shape even before the installation. I installed it anyway and did a smoke test, and it was leaking. In short, I had to order my own hardware and gasket, modify my own exhaust despite it being a "direct fit" cat that cost 800$.

Quality control must be lacking with this company. I purchased and installed a catback system for my 2026 RHO, which surprisingly is a dealer option as well. I installed myself, very mechanically inclined. Anyway, I had a heck of a time getting the tips to align, no real adjustment like the ball socket on stock or A.R.E. This is surprising because that would have made the alignment so much easier. I had to bend hangars, bend pipe, etc. to get them to align. This is unacceptable for a $2k + system. The clamps work o.k. but not well enough as you get condensation leaking at the joints. This is somewhat understandable. Sound is decent, still a little drone at 2-2400 rpm but tolerable. It is a performance system after all. All-in-all, given what I've been through trying to get this system installed and aligned correctly, I would not have wasted the money in retrospect.

What a joke - their claim to have a “one box solution” is wrong. Even worse is how their customer service handled (or didn’t handle) the situation. Dude sounded defeated as soon as he picked up the phone. Didnt bother to help beyond saying “send an email with pictures.” Avoid this company at all costs and get a local muffler shop To help. Incorrect website, wrong parts, trash customer service

The company advertise that they will give you a $75.00 rebate if you return the old manufacture Catalytic Convertor and if has no damage. THIS IS A SCAM!! I had returned one with no damage and they even sent me a report that all was good but only sent a $25 give card. I could have gotten $70 from the local recycler, my bad because I got greedy for $5.00. Lesson learned!

I bought a catalytic converter complete exhaust system for my daughters 2003 VW bug. Right after we installed the check engine light came on and we took it back to the shop. They said it was a code for the converter not functioning properly. We have spent months going back and forth with MF trying to get the warranty honored. They asked for us to send pictures of the converter which we had to go to a shop to get taken and pay to have the car put on a rack so we could take clear pictures. I sent copies of all the shop bills, diagnostics and conclusions from three different shops to confirm the converter was BAD. I am sure they were just hoping that I would give up - however, after all the ridiculous time and energy spend full filling their request - they denied the warranty. There is no warranty on their products because they have no intention of honoring their warranty - BUYER BEWARE -
