Nebulon
Still the best protector after a full year
Magic John is really THE screen protector for any phone. My review is based on my real experience and use, starting from May 2025 to now, May 2026 (three days before). Before Magic John, every screen protector I bought brke within 1 - 2 months. And one day, while my glass was cracked again I remembered Magic John when I saw a TikTok video and I thought: "let's try this, maybe it's real? I need a new one anyways", and so I bought the privacy variant in the double pack. The installation was fast, was spotless, bubble free and very easy. From there, it survived accidental key scratches, many falls on concrete and even a fall on gravel. It really felt "magic". And after a full year, the olephobic layer has worn off so my screen is a finger print magnet, but it's still hydrophobic and when I quickly wipe it with just my sleeve, it literally looks like brand new, not even a single micro scratch! But, I have to be honest. I was clumsy one evening and my glass bottle fell right on the very corner of my phone, cracking the screen protector instantly. Altough the crack goes all the way to the top of the screen, it is completely and literally invisible even from the side, even in the sun, even from up close. The quality might really be exactly what it was advertised as. And I haven't even yet applied the second kit, which says a lot about durability in practice. Overall: It's absolutely worth the investment. Magic John may cost more than typical protectors, but because it lasts much longer it's extremely eco friendlyl to both the wallet, and indirectly for the environment.
