I purchased the Sterling Check 2 Quart Tea Kettle which as $149.00. The handle no longer remains upright which is a safety hazard when use it. The customer service experience was poor, as they do not stand behind their expensive products. She indicated that "overtime, the handle/rivets can loosen, making the handle fall more to the side." Their quality is poor. According to the representative, "this can happen over time. We are unable to assist with this." I have never purchased an item in the United States that the company does not offer any assistance for poor quality products. I would not purchase from this company. Please buy elsewhere and do not purchase MacKenzie-Childs products.

Awful total scam!! Never will shop here again

Unfortunately, the customer service here still has not gotten any better. I wish i had done some review research before ordering. Ive made 3 orders, the first came on time. The second and third experiences within the same month have been terrible. There is no phone # to reach them, and when i requested someone to call me they did but did not leave a message or #. The # they called from stated they do not do calls and to email them. Ive emailed them a number of times, and when my order finally arrived, it was missing an item. I had to email again to be told it was processing. A week later it is still doing so without explanation. One can buy these items through other more reputable stores like Macys or Wayfair, which would be better since they at least have customer service and phone #s.

This company's customer service is truly terrible. Never buy anything online. I purchased the product on September 16th, but almost a month later, some of the products are still in progress. If you purchase the same product on Amazon, it says it will be delivered the next day. Customer service said I couldn't cancel and just told me to keep waiting without giving a deadline. I was shocked and this was the first time I felt so stressed while buying something. If you want to buy something to give to someone as a birthday present, don't use this site. You won't receive your item until a few months after your birthday. Buyers must also pay a fee when returning an item.

Worst customer service ever. The last time I ordered I had the same experience, it took weeks and months to receive all items. The box that took months I had to call to receive, I may have not gotten it if I hadn’t as they were not aware that it was missing from my order. Some items were not wrapped appropriately and looked like they had just been thrown in the box. Something is not right at that company, I regret ordering again. I hope to get my stuff this year!! Ugh.

During the July 24 sale I tried to purchase several items. I filled everything out, including my CC information. I continued to get error messages - called my CC company and they said there was no problem with my card. Tried calling and emailing Mackenzie-Childs and got "0" (zero) responses. So they can stick their expensive China junque where the sun don't shine! This happened last year as well, but they corrected their system to accept Discover! Terrible customer service... or should I say NO customer service!

What has happened to this once wonderful company???? I placed a large order which included outdoor furniture. After nearly a month of waiting the items started to ship. First two chairs arrived-marked “made in china”-very poorly packaged-complete with a bent frame, multiple scuffs, gashes, and areas of missing paint. Since MC no longer has a customer care phone number, i corresponded back and forth via email. I sent photos of the damaged chairs. So far-crickets. Absolutely no response. I am still awaiting the rest of this very slow order. I’m not at all optimistic since MC is now using a cheap, careless Chinese manufacturer to produce their goods. So sad that MC is no longer a dependable, high quality manufacturer. Customer service is clearly not a priority either!! Stay away.
