I purchased a dress at a reduced sale price, it was clearly stated that the reduced price dress would be non refundable and non-returnable, however there was a clear sizing guide which gave me more confidence that the dress would fit. I’m a UK 12 and bought a US 8 and it fitted perfectly. The order arrived within good time, came with a security tag in situ and was well packaged. The dress is a simple and elegant fit made of jersey material and I was very comfortable wearing it for the whole day and evening at a wedding.

Lines of beads started falling off the dress before it was even worn. Customer service would not send a replacement or issue a refund because it was after 14 days. A waste of $600.

I bought a beautiful dress to wear as mother of the groom. It arrived promptly and exactly as it appeared online. I knew it would need to be altered and assured my seamstress could do it and maintain the beautiful line of the dress, which included three tiers at the bottom and a lot of beading. I made sure to check with her within the return window in case I needed to return it. It turned out perfectly and I received many compliments, felt comfortable and confident in the gown.

I will say that the dress I ordered is beautiful, but their order, delivery, return and customer service is a challenge. They make it very challenging to return a dress and try a different size. My second dress was shipped with a sharp edged broken hanger and the dress was not even fully protected with plastic by the dirty box in which it was delivered.

After buying this dress and sending it back and paying a fortune for them just to exchange the size. I had this dress on for ONE evening (less then 5 hours) and somehow it completely ripped.. and they just don’t care what so ever. Very cheap quality dresses apparently.

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered a dress after going into a local store to try on other Mac Duggal dresses, to be sure I got the size correct. When the dress arrived it didn’t fit, and because of the sequins would be almost impossible to alter. I sent it back, and because I live overseas, it cost me 50$ to send the dress to me, and 50$ to send it back…….a pretty expensive exercise….100$ to try on a dress, especially when I had made the effort to get the size right. I emailed Customer Service to explain what had happened and asked if there was any policy in place to reduce delivery costs for someone on this situation to purchase another dress. No I was told it’s just very unfortunate. I fell in love with another dress and was about to order it in a 6 when it sold out in that size, I registered to be informed if it came back in in that size. The material was such that I felt it could be altered to fit, so I then ordered it in an 8, as other sizes were selling out. One day later of course, I got the email telling me that the 6 was back in stock. As I hadn’t had any confirmation email, or DHL email, I emailed Customer Service to ask if they could please please swop the order from an 8 to a 6. I got an almost immediate reply, to say as it hadn’t been shipped yet, they would do their absolute best to get the order shipping department to swop the size over. Over 24 hours later, I got a further email clearly from a different person, saying bluntly that once orders were made they cannot be altered. That’s not what I was told the day before, and frankly for dresses that generally are several hundred dollars, I think this is pretty poor customer service. Yes I bought a bigger dress in the knowledge I could get it altered, but they had the chance to swop over the dress before shipping, and they basically couldn’t be bothered. I will never ever be purchasing with them again, this is the sort of service I would expect from Primark, not a prestigious designer.

I bought a MacDuggal dress for my grandson's wedding in the tropics. I ordered a size larger, but could have ordered my size, but thought it was better to take it in. It worked out fine. It has to be my all time favorite gown!!! Beautifully made, fabric lovely! My alterations lady said it was a dream to work on. I only wish I could find another grandchild to wear it to their wedding!

Ich habe aus der Schweiz 1 Kleid und 1 Jumpsuit am Montag bestellt, am Mittwoch war das Paket schon da! Beides ist traumhaft schön und sehr gut verarbeitet. Die Verpackung ist weniger glamourös, aber das war mir egal. Beim Kleid hat die Größe und die Länge gepasst, einfach nur WOW! Jumpsuit ist leider zu groß. Die Retour Abwicklung ging easy und schnell und kostet um die 30 CHF, was ich ok finde. Alles in allem würde ich hier definitiv wieder bestellen.
