It provided me lots of depth about the area of the subject I wanted to study in. I had the opportunity to dive into different branches of my subject and learn new information and facts that enhanced my learning and encouraged my enthusiasm in that specific area.

I joined the Lumiere Research Scholar program because I was interested in pursuing research in the field of Astrophysicis. What I got from the program was an amazing experience where I gained a lot of valuable skills that will help me in my future career. I am now prepared to write a scientific research paper, read and analyze pre existing papers, and make my writing more clear and concise. I have also learned how to structure my time to be able to meet deadlines in an efficient way. Overall, a very beneficial experience that has had positive impact on my life.

I am grateful for the opportunity Lumiere gave me to research gender/queer studies - highly tabooed fields in the Middle East. I already had a research question, but my mentor helped me delve into the field and adjust my question. With the guidance and multiple revisions of my mentor and writing coach (Lumiere's writing support was more than helpful), I finished my paper, but Lumiere's impact continued; Because of Lumiere's experience, I got accepted into another gender-studies 9-week research scholarship, accepting only 15 trainees, most of whom are graduates!

Lumiere Education has provided me with an incredible opportunity to write a full-length research paper under the mentorship of a PhD candidate from a U.S. university. The instructions were clear, the deadlines were reasonable, the mentors were nice and helpful, and the whole experience was wonderful.

Engaging in research was such a great experience, as it allowed me to delve deeper into a subject I’m really passionate about. The program was well-structured and thought through. It was a great opportunity overall, and I’m very glad to have participated. My mentor was outstanding and the entire team was exceptionally supportive throughout the whole process.

I'm grateful to Lumiere for the opportunity to work on an academic paper on a topic I've been passionate about for years—Congenital Insensitivity to Pain (CIP). With the guidance of my mentor, Ms. Eliotte Garling, the journey has been both enriching and enjoyable. I've learnt and grown so much over the last 4 months, not just in the space of academic writing but also as a student and a person. Thank you, Lumiere, for an incredible experience.

Good program for me I have learnt a lot about research skills. I also have a chance to read pubmed articles for broadening my knowledge during the time for high school research. This is my foundation for college's application and future learning path.

It was the most exciting summer of my life with lumieres research programme. I thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience and i can gladly reccomend you to do this course as i not only formed a good bond with my very experienced and amazing mentor but i also learnt how to write a research paper which will not only boost my college application but will catalyse my progress in my future career
