Lumiere EducationReviews of lumiere-education.com

Lumiere was one of the most impactful academic experiences I’ve had so far. I got the chance to research gender-based discrimination in entrepreneurship in Pakistan, something I’m deeply passionate about, with the guidance of an incredible mentor who pushed me to think critically and stay focused. My mentor was extremely helpful; with his guidance and throughout my time with Lumiere, I learnt how to write a full research paper from scratch, conduct interviews, and dive deep into academic literature. I really appreciated how supportive and responsive the Lumiere team was, especially my program manager, throughout the journey. I’d highly recommend this program to any student looking to explore their academic passions by conducting real academic research.

Lumiere Research Program is an incredible opportunity for those who want to dive deeper into academic research. The program provides excellent mentorship, a structured approach to research, and a chance to develop analytical and academic skills. I learned a lot during my time in the program and highly recommend Lumiere to anyone eager to expand their knowledge and contribute to the field of science.

My experience at Lumiere Education has been very fulfilling and enriching. The program opened me up to helpful resources, expert advice, and a step-by-step approach to conducting my research. One of the key aspects that made my experience exceptional was having seasoned mentors who provided constructive criticism and enhanced my research process. Moreover, Lumiere Education gave me a peer learning experience whereby I could connect with peers, exchange ideas, and gain from new knowledge pertinent to my topic. The program's research support and academic resources significantly enhanced my study quality, allowing me to tackle my research with greater confidence and clarity. A further strength of my experience was the emphasis on problem-solving and critical thinking. Lumiere Education pushed me to seek out new solutions, pose more challenging questions, and become increasingly analytical in my research strategy. This academically empowered me and positioned me for success with future challenges in higher education and beyond. Overall, Lumiere Education has played a large role in shaping my research experience. The structured guidance, supportive environment, and focus on intellectual growth combined to make my experience enjoyable and academically enriching.

Lumiere was such a game-changer for me! The support from my mentor was incredible—she not only guided me through the research process but also shared her own experiences, which made everything feel more approachable. The program taught me how to structure my thoughts, do proper synthesis, and actually think like a researcher. Now, I see the world through a whole new lens, always questioning and analyzing things.

I liked my mentor a lot. She helped me with everything, not just with my research; but also with my college applications. Writing center was very rigorous. They helped me a lot on how to use the paper format.

They only ever asked PhDs like me to volunteer and they never compensated me.

Lumiere scheduled a zoom appointment to meet with me today and didn't show. There is no one to respond by email, chat, or phone. This despite Lumiere sending a reminder email 15 minutes before the session.

I'm really grateful for the opportunity Lumiere provided. As someone who had never been involved in high-level research, I found it to be an incredibly valuable experience. My mentor was really nice and helpful, and she guided me throughout my journey, even though I had some personal troubles that prevented me from scheduling regular meetings. Also, Lumiere provides aid for low-income students, so I wholeheartedly recommend it!
