We had issues with a Mini Paceman, refused a refund, tried a CCJ that was ignored too, so we employed Bailiffs very reluctantly, but they were amazing, once the CCJ is issued you have to go down the bailiff route quickly, don't be afraid, they were so kind, we have just got a full refund + interest. You don't need a solicitor, all our costs and all the bailiffs costs are added to what the bailiffs demand from him, and they have the power to seize cars and auction them to pay the debt if he doesn't pay at once. Such a relief!

I bought a mini on 20/04, he showed me a graphic with the models that would be reliable and all of that, I chose a red mini convertible automatic, he said in a week the car would be ready. Then 2 days later he keeps calling me because amex is holding the payment (I am not surprised) they release the money and I need to keep chasing them for the car. on the 09/05 is ready, he asks for a bank transfer (probably because he still has issues with credit cards companies, as you can action the section 75) I paid and got told only after that the roof was not working and I would need to bring back in a couple of days. Fine, also had no petrol at all. I filled the tank and I drove a few times but I noticed some issues and he told me he would fix when he fixed the roof, but that now could only be after the 10/06, I agreed and brought the car on the 11/06, got told would be ready for the weekend. I had again to chase as I got no updates, car is ready on the 18/06, had. half tank when I dropped, it was empty when I collected again had to fill the petrol, roof was fixed but in the rain water enters via the front window, car was dirty and had cosmetic damage, also rear windows don't lower, smell like burning oil and the main issues with the steering wheel shaking like crazy and the gearbox being jerky are the same, he said he re programed the gear box. I need to bring again so I decided to drive to work and back to test, the gear is not working properly on the way in, on the way back starts to make noises and choke, until engine light is on and EP code. I had to call recovery, wait for 2 hours, their diagnostic showed lost of power and that was permanent. I got it towed to my house as it was late and they were closed and I didn't want to risk parking outside their garage and something happened and get blamed so I have on my closed garage. I have now sent a formal final rejection letter, I want a full refund ( I paid extra £550 to add bluetooth and 12 months warranty) plus the petrol, road tax, insurance and uber/bus I had to use during all of these. I still have not received the V5, I have no MOT certificated, no service history or second key. Also the recovery patrol said the oil smell is because the car is covered in grease underneath probably from a leak so could not have passed MOT anyways. How they are allowed to issue MOT's is a surprise to me. I was nothing but nice, respectful and understanding with him. And he took my good faith and scammed me. So I will wait for the reply if not I am going after my banks and court if needed. I gave a chance to repaired, also these are extremely dangerous issues! Also pretty sure now the car was returned by another client and put on sale again. I have severe anxiety so this is a nightmare!

Daughter has Mini Cooper from this charlatan. Bought in Dec 25 but it needed some work. Obviously that work was not completed properly. Bodged. It went back Jan for a massive hole in exhaust that had been done, according to them, for the MOT, also believe MOT IS DODGY! Trading Standards will be informed. They had car for more than a week. Shirking and making excuses. Bearing in mind we live in Northamptonshire and this garage is in London! My daughter was 24, this guy just completely took the pi$$. Paid over £2.5k! Fast Forward…. Time and time again warning lights and horrendous sounds. Coils changed by local mechanic, ok for week or so then more of the same. This vehicle is fit for scrap, it’s very unsafe for a young woman to drive, or anyone tbh. Because of deafening noise, shuddering and ongoing engine management lights and other issues it’s now sat on the drive. Redundant! Basically it is 💩 🚗 and Charles should, by rights, be out of business reading these reviews. Nothing but a thief really angry 😡 🤬 I will be taking this further!!

Please please use a credit card when doing anything with this garage. Trying to get your money back is a struggle. They promise everything and deliver nothing . Avoid them. Charles is a complete bull ..... It has taken me over 6 months to get my deposit back . The credit card company were great

Horrible dealership. Car was completely different from in the advert and Felt like Charles was speaking down on me and wasn't giving me the time. Put down half the car payment and told it would be serviced, only for it to be delayed and delayed and delayed, very very rude over the phone on the times he did answer. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Do not buy from this dealer !! I’ve been waiting for a refund for 7 months now. I have taken this to small money claims and he has still not refunded me! I’m now having to take this further and I don’t know when I will be getting this back still. This was after purchasing a car from Charles, that never turned up after waiting over a month as he said it wasn’t working after I had already paid in full, so I was sent different car for the same price and that was also faulty ! I exchanged the car for an 3rd one… the next one was also faulty (wouldn’t change gears) So I asked for a refund. I am still waiting for this now. Avoid this dealer at all costs

Excellent service

Avoid . The car I bought had been in an accident which was not declared at point of sale . This was divulged through an employee after car returned . Brakes failed within 4 weeks of having a newly serviced car . Driver door dropped and stuck in car several times . Charles refused full refund and only 50 percent received . Now seeking legal reparation . Took weeks of e mails and calls daily to get any money back . Do not buy from this man .
