One thing about Sans, it is aptly named because it is “without” use. I have used Winix filters in the past and loved them. I chose Sans this time around mainly because of the square footage they alleged the largest filter could handle. If you have a Winix set to auto and put it near bleach or any other chemical, food cooking, someone smoking, or one of your kids farts near it…the Winix is going to go “red light” and full blast until the air is clean. I had a mold issue in one of my houses, in the past. After being tested by professionals, the only room that didn’t have mold was where I had the Winix on at all times. I’m still kicking myself for giving Sans a chance, because although it’s nicer to look at, it NEVER gets set off when on auto. I’ve put it in the bathroom as I clean…nothing. Chemicals in the air don’t register. Cooking, farting…not much sets it off. During the wildfires, last summer, you could SEE soot in the air but according to Sans the air was fine. So after months of trying Sans with sans results, I am going back to trustworthy Winix. It’s no wonder Sans isn’t in any of the “top filters” lists by trusted third parties. I guess the one hundred million they made selling these duds can only buy reviews. So, this morning, I get an email at 4am, from Sans, telling me thanks for my purchase. I thought wtf. Then I see I subscribed to replacement air filters every three months. But I don’t use Sans, and don’t want MORE filters. I should’ve just returned the damn machines. I hate when I get lazy. I bought two, btw, the largest one that claims it can filter 1800 square feet. And the mini. I recently moved back into the city into a 1,000 square foot apartment. Much less than Sans is allegedly built for. Allegedly. Anyway, I don’t want these filters. Of course they make it impossible to cancel. There’s no easy way. One link leads to another, and then you have to email. After going down that rabbit hole, I get a message saying I got a refund. I’m impressed for about two seconds that Sans quickly let me out if this misery. But then I see there’s another charge for the subscription. So they charged me at 4am, charged me at 12:50pm, and then refunded me at 12:51pm. Which means I was charged twice, refunded once. Which means I’m back to my original issue. So not only does Sans NOT work, but they let their employees play with your credit card information. Which I could also do without. I would like to sans have their filters, sans be on the subscription, and sans have them playing with my credit cards. Sans, what a great name since it’s one thing you can do without.

I spent 600.00 dollars on a two piece set and neither one has collected one iota of cat hair. This is a piece of 💩

I have had an incredibly frustrating experience with Sans, and their customer service is an absolute shambles. I contacted Sans to cancel an order, and a representative named Danyi confirmed that the cancellation had been processed. Despite this, the company shipped the order the following day. When I contacted customer support again, I was told the order had already shipped and could not be cancelled. Their solution? I should refuse delivery or contact them again to arrange a return. Why should I have to spend my time fixing their mistake when their own representative confirmed the cancellation? The complete lack of communication between their customer service and fulfillment teams is astonishing. What should have been a straightforward cancellation has turned into an unnecessary headache. For a company marketing premium products, the customer service experience has been anything but premium. **Extremely disappointing, and based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing from Sans.**

I got an air purifier and it has clear problems. In the first few weeks it repeatedly got really loud on auto mode, showing 999. This issue goes away after a restart but makes the device unusable to keep in the bedroom. I contacted support 3 times but they have either been useless (unclear instructions, discussing wrong problem) or ignoring me.

Customer service is beyond horrible. I sent a message just a few days after I placed my order (#901141) wanting to give the referral credit to my co-worker who let me borrow her air purifier to test it out, and because she did, she was the sole reason that I purchased from them. Without her letting me try the unit out, I would not have bought it. The response to that message that had NOTHING to do with the content of my message. I asked if she could get the $40 referral credit applied to her account, because I had missed that they did that when I ordered. The response was I could not get a credit on my account. I replied back stating that my message had NOTHING to do with MY account, it was in reference to my co-workers account and her referral credit. The next response from them was worse than the first. So I sent a third message asking them if it was really worth losing a new customer (and obviously a customer for as long as I have the unit as they supply the filters) over a $40 credit and they messaged me back with instructions on how to return my unit. So they would rather lose a new customer than do the right thing and pass on a referral credit to someone who is solely responsible for me buying their product. That is a HORRIBLE business model. Word of mouth is powerful advertising, but they don't seem to care. Unreal. I think the customer service is AI based because I haven't even received the unit yet, it is still in transit, and they are asking me to scan the code on the bottom of the unit in order to start processing the return. I have researched other air purifiers and have found one with much better customer service than these yahoos. Sans air purifiers are very expensive, and I found a comparable one for almost half the price with better communication and comprehension of my concerns when I contact their customer service. I wouldn't buy anything from Sans. I will be refusing the shipment when it arrives and buying another brand. Sad. They lost a customer because they can't do the right thing and acknowledge they made a sale through word of mouth and act accordingly. Their loss.

The purifiers are fantastic, but try getting the filters you’ve signed up for via their subscription model and it’s a different story.

Trying to communicate with their non-human customer service email is worse than a slow death. I have repeatedly tried to replace an order with two items in it and yet they only send one returns label.
