I love it I got for my granny
I love it I got for my granny! Only bad thing is you can’t hear or they can’t hear unless you’re by the base!

Thank you for the review Gloria. Because the base is not the loudest, we suggest putting in the center of the house so that it has maximum range. Unfortunately even in this case we can not guarantee that you will always be able to hear the device simply due to the fact that some houses/walls are very good at reducing the sounds that are traveling throughout the house.

Agent takes 2+ minutes to respond after…
Agent takes 2+ minutes to respond after button pressed. Seems like it shouldn't take that long.

It's unfortunate that it felt like the response time took longer than usual. Sometime the placement of the console or the connection to your landline can affect this. We'll have a member of our customer service team reach out to make sure your console is in the optimal position and all lines to the console is secure.

Excellent response time
Excellent response time. Courteous telephone personnel . Easy to use pendant. Great range. Too long of a recharge time.Drives me crazy

Only problem that when I get a text…
Only problem that when I get a text regarding my Mom they use all the available characters placing her full name in twice and do not tell you what had occurred.

This is a problem and something that we will look in to. You should be able to be made aware of what the occurrence was, not just that something involved your mother.

Emergency response call
I somehow activated the emergency need on my device at 3:00 A.M. ! awoke and by the time I reached the monitor, the report had already been made, The person on line verified whether there was an actual emergency or not and asked that I identify myself. It is reassuring to know there really is someone on call in the case of a true emergency.

Customer service is great
Customer service is great. Monthly testing goes smoothly, with very courteous agents. My only concern is that I have had to replace two mobile units in less than a year. One died completely and wouldn’t take a charge. The other did not fit the charging dock well, making it difficult to get it to charge.

I am sorry to hear that Tom. We do a quality check of all of our devices before they leave the building, but there are still times where a device can become faulty after several months of use. With regards to the charging dock, the technology is very sensitive and because of this it needs to be carefully placed into the charging dock, which at times can be a difficult task. Regardless, thank you for your review Tom, and thank you for choosing Lifestation.

We have had this for a few years now…
We have had this for a few years now and really only needed it the last 2 years which has been a lifesaver as well as a peace of mind.....my only though is it take a little bit for them to answer (I know if it may seem like a long time to us because of the emergency) I asked the tech when I call one time and they say they answer it within a minute....I think a minute is a long time if it's a life or death situation .....but we have been very happy with it...

Thank you for the review Robbie! As much as we would like to answer every call immediately, we simply do not have enough people staffed in order to cover the vast number of button presses that we receive on a daily budget. Adding on to this is the fact that we take each call very seriously and in no way try to rush or get the person to end the call until we are 100% sure that they are safe and taken care of.

Service - wonderful; Device could use improvement.
I find no problem with the service and quick response of the representatives who are always kind and professional. The only issue I have is the HYPER-sensitivity of the device worn around the neck. There have been several incidents when my mother MAY have hit the button inadvertently. She then hears the machine go off, causing her to RUSH to the machine WITHOUT her walker! Well, you can see where that could lead to a REAL medical alert issue!!! I wish the device worn around the neck could be improved.

The reason that the device is sensitive is to make sure that we can catch a fall when it actually occurs. That being said, if you are concerned about your mother rushing to the machine to turn it off, you may be interested in one of our mobile devices instead. All of the communication is done through the actual pendant so wherever you are you have no need to go into a different room in a panic in order to turn it off.
