Mom (93) just renewed her subscription to Lifestation for a second year. She had a "bobble" or two (opening a new jar of pickles!) last year. The local EMS called her almost immediately to check on her. After that incident, I'm REALLY thankful to have the Lifestation system because it gives ME peace of mind. The equipment is easy to connect, the service agents are very helpful, the response time is great and you can really hear the CS rep or EMS ALL OVER mom's house! We live in PA and, prior to COVID-19, the deciding factor for us was having two service hubs in different states - with one in NJ -VERY SMART IDEA!!

I have not had to use mine as of yet. I am going to have a shoulder surgery next month. Maybe I will need it then. I had one with my late husband and we were really happy that we had it.

The best decision I ever made for my parents safety!! I would recommend this for anyone with elderly parents or family.

Saved my mom's life, seriously. The night after I bought this for my mom, she fell and couldn't get up. She pressed the button and the ambulance came and took her to the ER. Her blood pressure was 50/30 and the doctor said she would have died if she hadn't been brought in as soon as she was. She has made a full recovery and I am so grateful that she was able to get the help she needed.

This device works well. The people I speak to on the phone are quite knowledgeable,friendly and polite.

Always a prompt reply. An error on my part

I researched various fall detection companies for hours looking for ratings, services, equipment, and prices before choosing LifeStation for my 84-year old mother. She was living independently at the time and began falling. After one fall, she was on the floor for several days with no way of reaching help until someone at her senior independent living facility did a wellness check and heard her faint cry for help. We have been with LifeStaton for over a year now and have been very pleased with the equipment and the service. With this pendant, emergency services have ended up responding a couple of times which has resulted in me having peace of mind! Also, I like the feature that I receive a text message every time her pendant alerts. If there is any negative with LifeStation, it would be with the sensitivity of the pendant in detecting a possible fall. I've seen it alert occasionally when my mother sat down in a chair or laid down on her bed. But in these cases, she just needed to tell the person from LifeStation speaking to her through her pendant that everything was OK. But better for them to respond and ask if everything was OK than to have no response when the pendant detects a change in height! Also, to talk to a LifeStation attendant by pushing on the button on the pendant (such as with the recommended monthly tests), one has to push on the button with much more force than I expected. I guess that is to prevent the pendant from calling if the button was accidentally hit. I found that one has to push on the button hard enough until the unit vibrates. When I was doing my research on the various devices that companies had that detected falls and that one could speak to someone through a pendant, LifeStation's pendant was the lightest which one would want if it is being worn around the neck. Also its battery lasts for several days without needing to be recharged. If one forgets to recharge it, it will give a spoken warning that the battery is low. So if you are reading this while doing your own research for yourself or a loved one, you can stop right now because LifeStaton is the best!

Very pleased with our experience over this last year. Thank goodness Mom has not had to use it for any kind of emergency, but when the unit has been accidentally pushed, a Life Station operator is right there. A great piece of mind.
