I find that it's a nuisance and overpriced. Worn as a lanyard, i find myself accidentally setting off the alarm as I am leaning into my desk area. The first time it happened people around me were looking to see where the voice was coming from. An Iphone watch wouldn't improve the problem. The first time I fell, I used my iphone to seek help without going through your system.

Have not needed it

This product cannot be used in an area that has minimal internet to make work. Make something that doesn't require internet. Oh. They did. It's a landline phone.

Very uncomfortable and bulky. I have pretty large hands and it’s not a good fit. Do you have anything smaller?

Called today took a long time to connect. The person named rose answered and was out it touch with reality. Very old person that was rude. I will probably cancel the service because lifestation obviously does not do a good job if at all reviewing these people before they hire.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! After my mother died I called to cancel service and request a refund because I had prepaid for a year in advance. They said no refund until I return all of the equipment, which I did at my own expense. Instead of a refund they charged my credit card $90.00. When I called for an explanation of the $90.00 charge, the first response was it was a prorated billing up to the time I returned the equipment. When I explained that I paid in advance, the response changed to, I did not return all of the equipment. Which I know is false because I packed up the return box myself. John Reuber

My experience with this company has been terrible. First red flag was when they told me I should “hold” the special pricing with my credit card until the next day when I could call back with my mothers. They promised they wouldn’t charge the card until I called and confirmed the order the next day. I did call 12 hours later to confirm the order and provide the credit card to be charged. The bill comes and sure enough it was on my card instead of my mother’s. It took 3 calls and many minutes (hours) on hold to correct. The device and lockbox arrive and the lockbox was defective and couldn’t be opened. Many more minutes on hold to get a new one sent, which also meant I had to repack the old one and bring to UPS for return. Three weeks in and the GPS necklace stops working and will not charge. Several phone calls, literally a couple of hours on hold and 2 days later they finally agree to overnight ship a new unit ( it actually took 2 days to receive, not one) during which time my mother was left unprotected, a total of 4 days. This also meant more equipment I needed to repack and take to UPS for return. Exactly 12 days later the new device also stopped taking a charge. In the past 27 hours I have spoken to 5 different people, not one able to assure me new equipment would arrive before the weekend. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I would receive a return call from one. That was 24 hours ago and I have not been called. This device is going back. Obviously if I can’t trust the equipment or the customer service, I certainly don’t want to trust them with my mother’s safety. BEWARE: They have a 24-48 hour return tech support call for equipment failure, and the 3-5 business days for replacement equipment to be received. That’s all time your loved one is paying for protection they are not receiving. Unacceptable turn around times.

VERY DISSATISFIED & DISAPPOINTED!!! I have been paying for this service for my 92 year old grandfather that lives alone. I live 3 hours away and was there visiting with him this weekend. I pushed the button on his device to test it and NOTHING happened. The charging station had a red light on but the device would not charge (I did everything I could to make the connection for charge). I then called the customer service to be told that they send a signal out weekly to test customer's devices. If a signal is not able to be established they then call the contact number on their records to notify of a possible issue. The customer service rep. said that they had not received a signal from my grandfather's devide since Sept. 2019...it is now January 2020. She stated that they had called my cell which is an absolute lie! Meanwhile, my credit card has been charged monthly. Aside from being disgusted at the lack of care and concern for my loved one's safety and our family's peace of mind, I simply asked for a credit for the 4 months that THEY KNEW the device was not working. That rep. was only able to provide me with 1 month credit. I then had to wait for a manager to call me the next day to ultimately have her blame my grandfather and us for not calling until now. All she was able to offer was a 2 month credit. So, for now I've still not been credited anything and IF I do receive 2 months credit I've still paid an additional $60 for a broken product, service and promises. This has also been a HUGE waste of my time! I am utterly disgusted with LifeStation and their attitude towards their customers! I am grateful that my grandfather did not have a fall or some other issue during the time his device was no good. It makes me sick to think of the 'what ifs' that could have occurred...all while assuming that LifeStation would be there to help. I work in the senior living industry and plan to let others know my personal experinece with this device and this company.
