Lifestance deletes bad reviews
I had a bad experience with a very disrespectful Lifestance therapist. I wrote a review detailing my experience on their Google page and it was promptly deleted.

LifeStance continues to text me regarding an outstanding invoice. This distressed me this afternoon. LifeStance should improve their billing department - and it appears I am in the consensus. I will continue to shut off my texting notifications.

would give zero starts if possible. Receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful while trying to sort out insurance. She was the most unprofessional receptionist I’ve ever dealt with. I’m not one to write a review but because of her attitude and behavior, I’ve decided to take my healthcare elsewhere.

Are they professionals? The person in the reception let me wait until she finish her conversation with another co-worker. That was today 12/12/22, at 10:00 am. The therapist called to have some feedback about the patient after one day been admitted in the facility.

I tried to work with this company. I scheduled a video visit. Unfortunately I had knee surgery the week before and was pretty doped up and mixed my days up.no problem. Next thing I know over 100 dollars is taken from me for missing this appointment i wasn't aware of this fee since no paperwork was done. I tried to get my money back and was told that someone had to tell me that I would pay this money. I was then told I would have signed paperwork saying I would agree to pay. Upon looking and after my insistent denial no signed paperwork could be found. Yet they kept my money. I live on disability they took almost a qtr of my monthly allotment. Never go here

Expect all your interactions by phone to be an hour wait on hold. Expect none of your calls to be returned. Expect none of your correspondence to be received and taken care of. Expect to be billed up the wazoo! DO NOT USE this anything but healthcare money pit!

I had a TeleHealth intake with Dr Bragg, he asked about a traumatic experience so I began to describe it to him. I was retriggered and when I could physically no longer speak because I was having a panic attack, he said ok you don't have to continue. Then at the end of the call he apologized and said he usually reminds people not to go into detail, and he was sorry he hadn't told me that. Even so I needed therapy so I scheduled an appointment for an in person session with Dr O'Neil in Temecula. I kept receiving messages that my appointment was telehealth, so I tried to call the number, only to get the after hours message. It was an hour after their business hours begin. I sent a message on the patient portal and a couple days later I finally received a phone call from his front office to let me know that my appointment was in person, so I filled out the new patient paperwork. I received a phone call at 9:00am on a Saturday with a call back extension telling me my appointment would be cancelled with no further explanation. I called the extension back an hour after receiving the call to be told that the extension does not exist. Monday was my appointment so since I didn't cancel the appointment I thought I'd go down and speak to them in person. I got a phone call before I left, and the woman I spoke to said "we have been trying to get a hold of you for a week but were unable." I stopped her and said, that I had in fact tried to call back only an hour after I received the message to get a recording saying that the extension was unavailable. In the most condescending way that she could, she said "yes our phone lines have been down, that's why we were unable to reach you." ..... ok. She then told me that it would be a waste of time for me to come see O'Neil and she herself scheduled me with a new therapist. I called intake myself, miraculously the phone line was working again, and found myself a therapist that is more aligned with my goals. I am going to meet Alcala in Temecula this week, he seems very nice and normal, and I hope that I don't have further issues with LifeStance. If you use this company make a record of every time you call, every interaction you have, get the name of the person you're speaking to, and just generally be very ready to advocate for yourself, 24/7. I mean who has their after hours message still going on a Tuesday an hour after they open? I get the impression that the company LifeStance does not give a crap about any of us, and you just have to sort through their plethora of doctors to find the one who is right for you. Luckily, the intake department has been helpful and at the very least professional. (For some reason the calendar indicating the date of experience keeps saying 10/31/22. My intake was 11/1/22 and I have been dealing with the back and forth of this for the last three weeks. 11/22/22
