Love my therapist and psychologist! They are excellent. The billing department is unprofessional, gives incorrect hours, and when they called me and I was in the middle of court they left no voicemail and charged my card without informing me that they would. Getting to talk with someone on the phone is basically impossible unless they call you first. And God forbid you can't immediately make a payment. The lady I spoke with was rude, lacking empathy, and when I asked the hours I could call back and speak with someone she gave me incorrect information. If I didn't like the therapist and psychologist so much I would drop this like a hot potato.

I'm currently 54 minutes 32 seconds on hold with billing. I called 2 weeks ago and they told me they'd waive my charges; now I get another bill and no one on the phone for 2 days in a row

They screwed up my charges and sent me a huge bill. After receiving an itemized bill, I discovered what I needed to pay and paid that amount. Afterward, I sent countless emails and made numerous calls to confirm the $175 on my account was inaccurate. I provided detailed proof only to be ignored. The providers are good but the billing is so screwed up it doesn't make going worth it. They are trying to steal from everyone.

Dr. Kurapey visit was okay back in Novenmber, 2023. HER STAFF, OR WHOEVER CALLED ME BACK WITH THE APPOINTMENT DID NOT RESEARCH, OR CHECK THE HUMANA INSURANCE POLICY VERY WELL. INSTEAD OF ME PAYING HUMANA'S $45.00 CO-PAY LIKE PREVIOUS DOCTORS, LIFESTANCE WANTS $125.00. HUMANA INSURANCE INFORMED ME THAT THE DOCTOR IS "OUT OF NETWORK". THE DOCTOR'S STAFF (DESK) SAID INSURANCE WAS OKAY BEFORE I APPEARED FOR THE APPOINTMENT. NO RETURN EMAILS, OR PHONE CALLS ABOUT THE OVER BILLING. IF THEY DO ANSWER THE PHONE IT'S, "HEY, YOU'RE YELLING". I'M THE PERSON WITH THE RINGING IN THE LEFT EAR. IF THE BILL GOES TO "COLLECTION", THEY ARE RECEIVING $45.00. Thank you.

I still haven't seen anyone. The first time it was the day of my appointment about an hour before and I get a call saying the psychiatrist that I had been matched with only sees children not adults. I'm 66 years old I made that clear when I first called. Now today I just got a call 1 hour before the appointment and said that the scheduling was wrong that I was supposed to have a follow up appt when i haven't even had an appointment yet! So now I don't have an appointment for another 3 weeks! And after reading the reviews I'm a little concerned about this whole operation. Although I'm going to keep my next appointment, I will definitely be looking elsewhere in the meantime.

A+ for doctor experience but F for administrative / operational capability and response time. Based on my experience, this is a wake-up call to their doctors. It just doesn’t work.

I would give the therapists we have worked with more stars as my family has worked with some good providers who have truly helped our kids. The billing situation is a nightmare, however. Nobody answers when you call billing - there is a message to call back during normal business hours (which are not listed) no matter what day and time you call. I have started recieving bills for services over a year old. They were listed past due on the first bill I received. We paid at each appointment, so there should not be an outstanding balance. Additionally, I have proof on my bank account of a large payment of which they claim to have no record. I paid something I probably didn't even owe just to stay out of collections over a year ago only to have a large random past due bill show up a year later for services supposedly not paid for in early 2022, which doesn't jive with my records. This past week 2 withdrawls in the amount of $20 have been taken from our bank account from lifestance even though I did not pay any lifestance bills or copays through the portal (or anywhere else) this week. I have tried calling the customer service number, the billing number and sending a message through the portal to figure this out and have not heard back. The one time I spoke to a human, months ago, she sounded genuinely concerned with the situation and said she would look into it and would make sure I got an answer. That never happened. There is rarely someone at the desk in the therapy office to bring these questions to. The therapist we are currently seeing is wonderful. I hate to bring billing nonsense to her and I would hate to have to find another provider, but this is awful. I checked the better business bureau, and there are over 100 similar complaints. Even current employees are disgusted with the exploitative billing practices of their own company according to employer review sites.

I was doing telehealth. I was late to one appointment because I had trouble logging in. I got in there 11 mins late and my provider, through messages, told me that they only wait 10 mins. I was charged the no show fee of $100. I made to my next appointment on time, then on my very next appointment, I was signing in from a different device and it somehow put me in the wrong providers waiting room. I quickly sent a message through the lifestance portal and let her know I was having an issue, unknowingly I sent it to General Q&A instead of provider, I have no clue of anyone ever saw that message but it's still in my sent box. I did get in a few minuets later but again, my provider had left. I immediately called the lifestance number where I held for quiet awhile. I had an option for a callback which I chose so I didn't have to sit on the phone. After almost 2 hours with no call back I again sent a message to the General Q&A (there is no appointment option) and explained the situation and my frustration and asked them to cancel all future appointments. The next week I get an appointment reminder 24 hours before my appointment, I called again and this time chose to remain in hold. I finally got in touch with someone and explained the situation along with my request to cancel all future appointments. I was told that I had to cancel 48 hours in advance so I would be charged. I was so upset and because I had sent that message the lady who answered the phone, was able to get the appointment cancelled with no fee. I do think the customer service rep who I spoke with on the phone was patient and did what she could to help me as she doesn't make the policies'. However, the communication and rules are absurd. Most places give a 15 min grace, which would have meant I would have made every appointment. They do not respond to sent messages in a timely manner. In short, I lost $200 on missed appointments due to log in issues.
