I was to have 3 visits, multiple reschedules from provider and now a bill from one visit provider made without my consent
I was to have 3 visits. Only concern was anxiety. No sleep problems, healthy and active. Therapist Kathy Reagan does all the talking with her own agenda, having the first opportunity to interrupt her after 45 min. She rescheduled appointment I had made for 6/23/23 herself to 6/19/23. On Friday, I had an appointment alert for upcoming apt for 6/19/23 and was confused as I had made it for 6/23/23, Friday and I was already scheduled with 4 exercise classes in different locations all day and unavailable 6/19/23. Lizette at Life Stance apologized and said she saw notes in the Portal that Kathy Reagan changed it herself. Lizette indicated that there was "no charge" for this apt that the provider changed. New apt was 6/21/23 at noon but when noon came Kathy R, provider, was unavailable and double booked. Life Stance then made apt 6/21/23 at 8 pm. Now months later, Life Stance has a new portal and the $100 bill now shows up on my profile. Seems the provider Kathy Reagan should be charged $300 for her changed appointments, then fired and Life Stance should consider the billing problems. Update, per Kim at Life Stance today, "zero balance" but continues to show in another area "100$ "past due, 90 days for the apt that this provider scheduled without patient consent. Life Stance, Kim, indicates correspondence to be sent regarding zero balance. Still, If providers are going to schedule and reschedule, there should be a Company policy that it is not allowable within a two-week period and not more than once from a provider. Surely, emergencies may arise, but providers should be responsible for their keeping the appointments that patients make with them!
