The intake person speaks too quickly and when asked to repeat, shows hostility. I need the ultimate service but not the attitude given upfront. This person needs to be relieved of her duties.

$23.38 charge for a simple 15 minute phone call back in May, 2023. No problem. I was told I was contacting the wrong person during my visit and that I "don't need their services." Now, in August I get an online statement from them saying I owe $197. I call and ask what that's about and they say they cannot find my account and call back if I receive another statement. I received a paper statement yesterday, now detailing the charges, and the total amount charged was $455, with a balance of $197.44 due. What is going on??? No one can answer my phone calls or questions when they eventually pick up, and apparently my account there doesn't even exist. I've already filed on their BBB page too. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, EVER.

Therapist are great , no complains there. Be carefull with their billing and their $50.00 "no show" fees. I had some appointments canceled by them and system issues in their part where I was unable to log in for my appoinment and still got charge their fees. I am now dealing with $250 of no show fees. I reach out to their billing department back in June with no call backs. Reached out again in August to the local office with no call back. I called today and was told that I would get a phone call back as the manager at Lake Nona was busy.... will see...in the mean while I am been threatened to be send to collections

I am having the same issues with billing, and I cannot get ahold of anyone who will call me back.

Never never never use this practice. They are so fraudulent. I am in the process of filing a legal complaint with the state. I was told over a year ago one cost of out of pocket treatment. We went to several appointments and paid that amount without any issue. I then got a bill 6 months later for a bill 4 TIMES that amount. I have been fighting ever since, and no one EVER gets back to you. I sit on hold for hours. I work all day, how the heck am I supposed to sit on hold and wait. Oh, don't use their "convenient feature" to be called back, they won't call back. There is a law about transparency in billing. This is straight up FRAUD. They keep saying that they are looking into it. Here we are at a year. I am tired of waiting. I am reporting them to the state. Done! I am also contacting a lawyer for a Cease and Desist. I don't owe you, I am not going to pay you, leave me alone and stop trying to rip people off!!! Do not go here, there are honest and better doctors out there.

My therapist and nurse practitioner were excellent. I would give them top ratings. Sadly, I stopped seeing them because of the exasperating billing practices. I spent dozens of hours over a year and a half asking Lifestance to correct their billing mistakes. Eventually they refunded the amount they had overcharged me. I got my money back but not the confidence in them I’d started with. It would be great to think Lifestance cares, but after nearly two years of hassles with them, I do not trust them and will not do business with them again. Tone-deaf replies from Lifestance are not helpful.

If I could give a zero I would, I do not see them as health care friendly. They are a corporation, with no knowledge of patient care. I have experience bad patient phone service, not being able to call anyone direct, it's always. "someone will call you back", which is not always a convenient time. The wait time can be up to an hour, and the phone calls are directed to a call center, not an health care office. The amount of my bill is always an issue, because in one day I have had three different quotes of what I owe. Also I had a 83.00 increase one time, and no one could explain how. I was charged a no show of 100.00 fee, even after I tried to call, but the call was not documented. I also noticed on occasions that I have called and my phone calls were not documented. I was sent an email outright, not through the, patient portal that included sensitive and confidential information, my HIPPA rights were violated. This has to be the most unprofessional, uncaring health care company, in it operated by people who have no knowledge or compassion for health care.

They filed claims wrong with my insurance and wrongly charged my credit card on file with 0 warning. I’ve asked multiple times, even had my insurance on the calls and the problem still isn’t fixed. Their billing team has acknowledged several times this is their screw up yet no one is accountable or does their due diligence to do right by the patient. I finally thought we sorted everything out and I get a statement tonight saying I owe a balance for a session that was once again filed incorrectly with insurance. I’ve spent HOURS on the phone with their teams and had to work late to make up for time lost during my work day. This company is a joke and should not be providing mental health services. Stay away, they will run up your credit card, waste your time, and give you anxiety.
