I was never notified that my insurance company denied that claim and I was billed $1830 a year and a half later.

I've got an update on dealing with this company - after someone replied to my comment, they advised me to reach out to an email but I cannot add the email so sorry about that. No luck there; they respond but with NO actual solutions. To add on, Florida Blue shot down all three of my appeals because Lifestance messed up the coding again. I've been chasing them for over a year now, making calls on my own. The first three claims were done right, but the last three? They decided to bill the doctor's name instead of Lifestance. It's a mess. This company is a letdown, and I'm done with their services. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Still stuck with these 2022 claims not getting sorted, and and I am still waiting to be properly compensated because they coded my first 3 telehealth visits wrong; they coded me like I actually showed up at the place. Dealing with these claims has been a headache, and I'm pretty disappointed in Lifestance. Terrible company.

Truly horrible billing department and call-center. "Your time is important and we will be with you shortly". RIGHT - been on hold for over an hour. They say they will call you back. Never will.

The provider diagnosed my 12 year old with borderline personality disorder in 1 visit with no previous mental health records and no history from either parent.

Like everyone else, I would give 0 stars if possible. Do NOT trust this company. I have used lifestance Virginia and Kentucky and their billing department is FUBAR. I just received a nearly $6000 bill from services from a year and a half plus ago from lifestance Virginia. Though they were charging me a $5 copay, they claim they never had my insurance (I have proof of insurance). Even though it shows insurance was tried after each instance when service was provided they for some reason waited nearly two years to inform me of an issue. All the while I continued to pay my copay and see my therapist weekly. Since I was unaware of the issue, I then continued my service with lifestance kentucky after moving and now am dealing with billing issues from them. I just finished my second time having to make calls about this particular account which now has an unexplained nearly $500 charge. When I called insurance, they said they had never been billed. Avoid like the plague. I’ve had to miss nearly two days of work so far to deal with collecting documentation and phone calls, and expect to spend my vacation week coming up dealing with it even more. If there were 0 stars, that's what this place deserves. I am currently sitting on hold for 40 minutes now. I used my second cell phone to try and call them and I requested an electronic message saying put your number in for a call back. They say they will call you back within 24 hours. My child was sent home from school and I need an appointment todday. I called a third time and someone in the "New Patients" department answered and said it's a 38 minute wait for "Existing "Patients to speak with someone. (funny how the new patients line answered right away). Well, I am at 40 minutes now and it is very frustrating." I had this same experience the last time I made an appointment. The fact that this place can get away with giving this kind of treatment to their patients is absurd. If you have 26 calls in a queue that's supposed to be a 38 minute wait, it sounds like you either A) Need more people to help or B) STOP taking new patients..... BEWARE NEW PATIENTS - They slip you in fast in the beginning and then treat you like crap once you're a patient. Life Stance - don't write back and say "you're sorry for the bad experience. FIX IT. This has been going on way too long.

I thought I finally found someone to help my son. I called and set up an appointment. They verified they did accept my insurance and I also verified it was in network with my insurance. I went to the appointment and it was awesome. I felt like I was finally getting my son the help he needs. Then I received a call and they said they actually don't accept my insurance even though they do and that I would have to pay cash if I wanted to continue services. I verified with my insurance again as well as having my insurance call them. They said they were fixing it. Instead of fixing it I was charged $390.00 on my card that I put on file for the co-pays which wasn't even billed to my insurance. I keep getting the run around and no one seems to know how to fix it so I can continue services here for my son. I'm pretty bummed as I finally felt like this dr was a good fit for my son which isn't easy to find. Now I have to find another dr yet again because this company can't seem to get their crap together

The day prior to appt. Tapped on "confirm" the screen went blank. About an hour later, tried again and the went white. Hmm. I logged in through patient portal, would not permit payment. Now, I see that this is not reliable. Waiting to see if they try to charge me when their software is faulty and they are difficult to reach. So far, they are a "not recommended"
