I got charged for a cancelled appointment- I am trying to call and resolve the issue, but they are very difficult to get a hold of and long time on hold. It seems this is just a business and not a place of help. Imagine a person having mental challenges and needing to deal with this system. I do not recommend this place.

This is a highly disreputable and incompetent organization. They cancel appointments without notification and refuse to provide any remediation for their contractual violations while being happy to charge $75 when it is the fault of the patient. They do far more to damage behavioral health than improve it. Their reviews are terrible, they have a very high number of complaints with the Better Business Bureau, I would advise any one with behavioral health issues to seek care elsewhere.

I have been seeing my psychiatrist for almost a year. I was needing a letter from her regarding my emotional support animal. They said they do not do those and to buy one online which I did, and it was denied by my apartment's lawyers. I needed a letter from my actual Dr who was prescribing my meds. I was informed to find another provider with another group and establish with them if I want a note. They offered no guidance, support nor advocated for me. I have never heard of any psychiatrist unable to provide a note for such thing. They have added to my mental, emotional and financial stress. I have spent a lot of money in this clinic to not be able to get a simple note from my provider who I have been working with for a year. My provider was also unknowledgeable regarding my Adderall regimens and my medication has made my ADD worse than it was before starting. Sometimes I would go weeks without my meds due to them not refilling them or taking days to respond to messages. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER OFFICE for your psychiatry needs. They do not advocate for their patients and leave you SOL with just the advice to find another office that would better fit my needs.

Called life stance over a year ago to see about psychological testing for my daughter due to some concerns. I was told there was a wait but that she could see a psychiatrist in the meantime; the psychiatrist proceeded to tell me my daughter needed the testing before anything more could really be done so I requested a spot on the waitlist. It has now been a year and I called for an update only to be told it would probably another year before she could be seen, the first person I spoke to though did let me know that they had called me in March of 2023 regarding an appt and I didn’t respond. That call was about a cancellation but by the time I called back someone else had already claimed the appt but it seems they took us of the waitlist due to incompetence. I then spoke to Sarah in scheduling who claimed there was still a lot of people before my daughter and it would be many months or a year before she could be seen. Don’t waste your time on Life Stance and go anywhere; I hope they are all proud of how well they help at risk people.

awful. set up one on one therapy as well as family therapy. the intake person set up all of my therapy sessions back to back on the same days. which is against lifestance’s policy. in order to keep the one on one i cancelled all of the family therapy. this morning my one on one fell through because the provider didn’t even show up. so now i’m out of all types of therapy. i have nothing on the books. i feel defeated. lifestance employees don’t know what they’re doing and they’re clearly not informed. i don’t even understand how a therapist just doesn’t show up. what if i was in crisis. which, i kind of am. so thanks lifestance. this is what my insurance chooses to work with.

Would never recommend this place the people are very rude no compassion at all called them a few times after i had my first online visit and was told I would get a call from someone but never did. The girl that answers their phone was very very rude people like that should not be working in this field. Thanks for nothing Mr Scott

RUN!!!! Do not give them any of your personal info they only want your money !! I signed up for this service in early September. After my 1st interaction I didn't want to leave my health care in their hands. I canceled my appointment and had to pay the 50 copay.. Then I requested them to delete my account on Oct 10 (Yes - I have it in writing) then on Nov 27 someone created an appointment without me !! I am currently waiting on the phone to get help at this time I have to wait 45 mins. RUN!
