Providers are absolutely horrible! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. KEEP SCROLLING FOR A MORE POSITIVE PLACE

If I could give zero stars - I would. This has been the WORST experience and I tried for over 2 years. If anyone recommends this company for treatment - run. I believe their processes/practices are not only disrespectful, but unethical. And I have never written a negative review for anything, ever.

Lifestance will quote you a reasonable price post insurance, say $30-$50 per appointment, and lie and say the insurance is covering the rest. Then after so many months or a year they will suddenly try to back bill you thousands of dollars because they mischarged you. They also charge $300-$400 PER HOUR which is easily twice the national going rate for the same service. Don't sign up for them. We'll be exploring legal options on our end.

I love my therapist. What I dont love, having a prn who wants to control my chronic pain management..I did not come to get pain management..only mental health treatment. Arguing for over a year to be treated for something i was diagnosed with over 40 years ago. THE WORST MESSAGING IN THE INDUSTRY. have been waiting 2 plus months for a return phone call. Cant schedule my doctor..cant call my doctor, cant email my doctor, my doctor is not allowed to call me, email me or communicate any other way than Lifestance. They have charged me for visits I COULD NOT CANCEL BECAUSE OF THEIR SYSTEM.THIS COMPANY..NOT THE THERAPISTS..U IS A SCAM AND AN INSURANCE FRAUD SCAM

Therapist is great, billing not so much. Serious discrepancies with no plausible explanation. They are charging for a visit that isn't even showing on my insurance yet. Time to look elsewhere since they want to be shady.

For somebody who is listed as a pediatric psychiatrist, Dr. Sanjeev does not know how to connect to a kid. The way he asks questions to a child is not therapeutic and with no compassion. He seemed impatient and dismissive. The way he even talked to us parents was condescending. Even for an adult, I would not even want him to be my doctor nor would I recommend him. He prescribed ADHD medication to my child early December 2023 without properly informing us that he wanted the medication to be given daily religiously — to still give it even on non school days. Because he basically flipped out and had strong reactions when I mentioned I did not give the medication during winter break to my kid. It is general knowledge Vyvanse can Not be given on non school days. And when he learned there were gaps in giving the medication, he immediately said he does not know what I am talking about because he was on vacation, out or something like that. Implying he has not prescribed the medication and who told us to not give the medicine on non school days?? “It is not like antidepressants.” What?? It felt like you should be in a defensive mode talking to him. It’s just red flags. You would think the first visit would be longer- it should be an assessment visit. Get to know your patient. I was surprised the visit did not even take 30 mins. I also asked him for any forms that the teacher could fill out for behavior observation. He simply said for the teacher to write notes? He basically gave up on my child on the second visit stating telehealth is not working so he was transferring my child’s care to somebody else. He said my child would benefit with an inperson visit. We agreed. When he was told we can go to his clinic he still went ahead for TOC. I was actually glad. It is hard to find a pediatric psychiatrist in our area, and if I did find one they do not accept new patients. If I was not desperate to find a doctor I would not have thought of going online. This doctor should update his picture btw. The person I saw on the video looked totally different.

If I could give 0 starts I would! Their billing department is horrible. They rarely answer or return calls. I left messages in the patient portal, they never check. Put you on hold for 50 min and hang up on you and don't call you back. I gave them the same insurance information about 5 times and everytime they confirmed they have everyting they need and still sent me a bill for almost $600. I have been dealing with this since September 2023 and it is now. January 30th 2024. I would never recommend them

Please do not use this provider. All they care about is dragging out appointments and overcharging patients. Provider we used was not caring and doesn't take parent or child concerns into consideration. As for the overcharging, for example, we have 15 minute sessions, that she was always late for and we get charged $250 for the 15 minutes and then $135 more dollars for 16-37 minutes. They literally go to 16 minutes just to charge the additional fee for the 1 minute (and probably not even that long because of provider being late to the appointments). In addition provider prescribed my child 2 serotonin meds at the same time because they refuse to prescribe stimulant meds for ADHD until you have gone through at least 4 rounds of non-stim meds. Well the non-stim meds gave my child serotonin syndrome (or something resembling it) in conjunction with the antidepressants and she was very ill and had to stop taking them. Instead of just prescribing the next med, they wanted to charge us $385 for another meeting to discuss how sick their treatment made my child. At this point we just found another provider who told us how dangerous their prescribing practices were and that she was very shocked that route was taken by a provider at LifeStance. My child now has another provider that is caring and concerned and has her on meds and she is now thriving. We had seen the provider at LifeStance for 4 months with no improvement and a very scary medical issue that could have been life threatening. If you need any other reasons to avoid this provider, note that it is near impossible to get a hold of anyone by phone. I had never been on hold for less than 45 minutes and up to 1 hour and 15 minutes where their automated system disconnected me. Their patient portal frequently does not work. Everything about dealing with this provider was shady at best and dangerous at worst. Do yourself a favor and see someone else who actual cares about patients and proper treatment.
