Insurance was billed $550 for the first one hour televisit session, which was an hour of a pretentious, dismissive Ivy school alum making me feel weird. Look for a local psychologist, not this scam of a company.

I was recently billed in January 2024 for something that occurred in early 2022. Unacceptable to have bills this old and not be aware of them or have an opportunity to research whether they were actually paid because it's dated so far back. I paid this bill anyway, despite its age. The payment was deducted from my Optum account for $215.00 on January 12, 2024. I received another bill in February for the same charge and service provider. I called LifeStance and the billing dept was no help at all and the only way to resolve this was by fax machine to the payments dept? Really?! No physical address, no phone number, no email, no website to send the document and show proof of payment?! Only fax. They may want to take a look at the billing dept, their processes and bring them into the future. I called my bank and they said the payment has been awaiting LifeStance to accept the online Pay request and there was no action from LifeStance billing. I requested they void this payment so I can get the money back and pay directly using a credit card instead since online bill pay seems to be too much to ask of them. I'll not be using LifeStance for future needs and sorely disappointed in services provided, outcomes and billing.

I had an appointment with a nurse practitioner in Derry, NH and the appointment was cut short. She knew the medications before hand, and was very condescending telling me that she was "above that" and that my primary care could probably help. It got worse, and I have to say if anyone from Lifestance uses the name of "The Center of Life Management" one more time, as a go to, because they won't service you, that it's simply "unethical". The Center of Life Management is fully aware that their name is tossed around, and they are trying to help the most vulnerable people in our community - which just leaves them frustrated as well - as they are not there to serve everyone. I was left in tears and frustration. I was told that I would be referred out to someone that would not "care as much", and it just continued on. I was told I would only be given this medication by her in a nursing home, that I was on my way to alzheimer's (there have been some studies, but it is not conclusive) and it just went on. New Hampshire has so very FAR to go with mental health providers. She stated I would not be charged, but she should never have taken the call to begin with. Nothing against her, because it is what it is up here, but so very unprofessional and so very uncalled for. PS. She told me to go back to my provider in MA and there are just too many other things list in a 5 minute beat down from a nurse practitioner.

LifeStance Health, by way of Dr. Adele Haber, ruined my life. I contracted COVID in February 2020 and Long COVID soon after. The virus wreaked havoc in my body, leaving me with loss of taste and smell, disordered eating, major GI issues, just to name a few physical symptoms. Nonetheless, Dr. Haber did not see evidence that the virus DIRECTLY caused any cognitive issues, and she SUSPECTS that all of my problems are due to preexisting depression, bad habits of my own doing, and being kind of overwhelmed by this scary time and scary virus. She has not read any medical literature, any research literature, about neuro-PASC, but don't worry! She has a chat group that discusses it. After Dr. Haber's evaluation that I could indeed go back to work, when I actually couldn't, I lost my job and health insurance. Now I'm priced out of Boston and am losing my apartment. Keep shopping. Don't let Dr. Haber or someone else at LifeStance ruin your life too.

It's very strange that all the positive reviews mention clinician's specific names. They all seem to follow a pattern. Possibly the company itself posting positive reviews? As a past patient, I can't really see how anyone can not be disappointed with Lifestance, even if the therapists are satisfactory. This publicly traded company uses patients because they are in it for the money, not the quality. Please replace the CEO, COO, and Board, and expose them for the frauds they really are.

Awful experience, they have the most unprofessional providers and staff who will shame you for your health problems. Very antiquated attitudes concerning alternative treatments or medications currently available. Nurse did not listen to a single thing I said, did not bother to go over my background, was arrogant and argumentative which is not appropriate in a mental health setting. No one looking for mental health help deserves to be humiliated or belittled, DO NOT waste a moment on these quacks.

Absolutely awful to deal with! I have been round and round with billing for months. I have wasted more time than I care to calculate trying to get a live person on the phone. When I finally did, I spent almost an hour holding and explaining every detail of the issue only to be billed twice again since reaching a live billing representative. I have sent numerous messages through my patient portal and NONE have been responded to. What kind of a company is this?! Very concerning and I would not recommend to a single person. They are supposed to help not cause undo stress. It seems more like a money grab to me.

I recently had an appointment at their Villages location. Since I had filled out all of my make paperwork ahead of time, I arrived just a few minutes early. The staff thanked me for filling out all of my paperwork online. It was a very long form that took me quite a while to fill out. When my therapist (Jacqueline) did come in to see me, she was a few minutes late. No friendly demeanor at all. I sat down and she asked why I had not filled out the paper work online. I told her I had an in fact the staff thanked me for doing so in the lobby. I was the last appointment of the day and I’m sure as soon as I checked in the staff left. She went back out into the lobby to talk to the staff and came back empty-handed. She had no access to the paperwork I had filled out, so essentially my entire time was spent, going over things that she should already have been prepared for. After speaking to me for 40 minutes, she gave me a diagnosis, which I felt was totally off. She told me to contact my primary doctor and have her update one of my meds to a higher dose. I thought that perhaps she was capable of this, but she passed it on. She ended the appointment 10 minutes early. So essentially, I wasted 40 minutes of my time and $400. I would never recommend this particular therapist, although I can’t speak for the whole practice. I did notice when doing a little research on her before hand that she had jumped around quite a bit from job to job. Probably a red flag.
