Irresponsible care
Up until this past month my experience with this provider has been fine. However, when my prescription ran out at the end of January and I didn’t get the usual text from my pharmacy confirming to refill it, I reached out to my doctor to say I needed a refill. She responded saying she had sent in a 90 day prescription which should last me until our next appointment. Okay, then why was I looking at an empty bottle that said quantity 30 no refills? She then ignored every follow up message I sent. Two days ago I finally call the office to get some clarity and figure out how to get my refill, the receptionist tells me she will contact the pharmacy to see what happened. The next day I finally get my refill alert, which to me shows they corrected this mistake. Today I get home from being out of town to learn my doctor had sent a letter in the mail firing me as her patient under the false allegation of misusing my medication. How utterly insulting! Clearly she did not make any effort to clarify with the pharmacy before making this decision if the receptionist was able to solve the issue with one phone call. Extremely irresponsible way to care for a psychiatric patient.
