This is the worst service I have experienced with any medical clinic. They claimed to have terminated my service due to not following up. I made my appointment before the six months that was required. They let me set an appointment after the date on the letter, which I had never received. They sent confirmation texts for my appointment, and when I show up for my appointment, I am advised that it was canceled. I would not recommend Lifestance for anything, particularly if you have anxiety charges conditions.

I’ve tried to book three times with Life Stance. The first time my appointment was dropped/cancelled on me. Second time, I was in the online waiting room and kept getting kicked out of the queue, then not allowed back in line for my appointment. No one was available to help over phone or email until my appointment window was passed. I was charged $75 and told it was non-negotiable. For my third appointment I sat in the online waiting room ahead of my appointment and was kicked out. When I finally got someone on the phone they said my physician never showed up. The office said she had given them notice she was unavailable but no one contacted me.

This place does not respect laws or ethical standards of the field. The nurses refer to themselves as doctors. The facility bills multiple times for the same service, charges are inconsistent, and charges are retroactively billed months after services were rendered. They billed my insurance company who paid in full but then charged my debit/credit card on file for the same services without any notification or invoice. When I realized that they had billed me for services that were already covered by my insurance company, I asked them about it. None of my emails regarding this matter have been returned. Also, when I first stated going here, they automatically set up appointments for services I didn’t not want, consent to, or schedule. I didn’t realize a facility could be so badly managed.

This company does not care about your mental health they care about your MONEY. I am a new post-partum mother EXHAUSTED and was 10 minutes late to logging into my appointment with the message “Your appointment has passed”. I called to ask how I could enter the appointment because technically it was still going on and they say there is only a 10 minute grace period and now I owe a $125 no show fee! This was my second session with this company, no thank you.

Can't imagine our experience with LifeStance being any worse than it was. We were looking for emergency therapy support for our teen and were told LifeStance had immediate openings. The therapist assigned spoke to our teen like a toddler and trivialized the very serious concerns that had led us there. We left LifeStance and have made great progress since with a therapist who knows how to work with teens. Unfortunately, the difficulty of dealing with this company didn't end there. We were invoiced and paid in full. LifeStance began harassing us for payment - phone calls, letters, threatening to send to collections - FOR AN ACCOUNT THAT WAS PAID IN FULL. We provided check numbers, dates, even copies of the check that they had endorsed. They admitted they had received payment and then choose to continue to harass and threaten collections FOR SIX MONTHS after they had cashed the checked. This is beyond incompetence - knowingly billing us in error. Tried multiple channels for resolution. Finally someone returned a call today and agreed it had been paid - no acknowledgement of error or apology - and unwillingness to provide written documentation of full payment. If you are looking for mental wellness support, look elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible organization. They actually made my mental health worse than it already was because of their unethical business practices. Charged me an $85 no-show fee when there was a scheduling misunderstanding between a new therapist and I. I put down our next appointment for one week and the therapist is claiming it was a different week. Her word against mine so now they claim I owe them money that I do not owe them. Not to mention it took numerous calls of waiting on hold for upwards of 1 hour to try to resolve this issue only for them to still say I owe them. Ridiculous greedy company avoid at all costs!!

Scheduling with this company is a joke to put it mildly. As a first time patient here, I sincerely question their competency, as well as their concern for privacy. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. With that said, I would suggest the individual providers think long and hard about what they put in their page biography. Run far, run fast. Dear Lifestance, thank you for the meaningless automated reply. From what these reviews say, you don't respond to the emails. I'm done wasting my valuable time, I said what I said, and stand by it.

Do NOT go here!!! I wish I could give 0 stars. I received care from 3 different providers through LifeStance from 2020-2023 and the care was mostly fine but in October of 2023 I received a surprise bill of $1600 from the company for service provided from December of 2020 to July of 2022. I was told before seeing any of their providers that my insurance was accepted and my copay was collected at each appointment, I was even specifically told around July of 2022 that the company was receiving payments from my insurance when I called to ask. Now I have been going back and forth calling their billing department and my insurance company to try to get this sorted for the last five months but am having issues with insurance because they have a deadline of 180 days for submitting coverage appeals. The billing department continues to tell me they can’t do anything about this and it’s all on me and my insurance provider and they even randomly charged my card for over $100 without my authorization or alerting me.
