Pure garbage, provider distracted and referred me out multiple times as though she could not help me. Barely made eye contact during visits, always 5- 10 min late. They charged me $100 for an appointment I cancelled and then would not let me join my next scheduled appointment without paying in full. The screen literally would not advance to my call without payment. For a change I was contesting. They don't let current patients schedule online and make cancellations difficult. All these policies seem to be designed to make money off of people that are clearly struggling. Super depressing this kind of exploitive care is masquerading as help.

Most doctors offices have a 24 hour cancellation policy. But for some reason, you have a 48 hour cancellation policy, and then you make it incredibly difficult to contact you. I noticed that every single response here is exactly the same. And most of the one star reviews are about your cancellation policy. This tells me that you are just rattling off an answer without paying attention to what is actually being said here. Do you really care about our concerns? If you do then, please change this terrible policy! There needs to be away to make a change to our appointments through the text thread or at least through the patient portal. I knew on Friday that I needed to change my appointment for Monday. I’m in eastern time, and when I call your number I’m always talking to people in earlier time zones. But when I need to call to reschedule, I’m told that the office is closed. I don’t understand why there aren’t people in earlier time zones that can take my call to reschedule my appointment. So even though I am trying to let you know well before 48 hours, I’m still told that I did it wrong that I’m being penalized because your system is bad. And then I got an email asking me how my booking was, requesting that I leave a review about the booking process. When I clicked on the link to leave a review about the booking process, it took me directly to reviews for my therapist! That’s not fair, I don’t wanna leave her a one star review when it’s the Administration‘s fault!

My experience with Kyung Lee was deeply concerning. I experienced an interruption in my long term medication that resulted in severe withdrawal and significant physical injury. I also felt uncomfortable when he asked for my social media information during an appointment. When I raised concerns about what had happened and the effects on me, I did not feel heard or adequately supported as he continually dismissed me. I have filed formal complaints with the appropriate agencies.

The $100 “cancellation” fee is absolutely ridiculous even when the fault is not yours to begin with. They will double book you, and still send you text reminders for both when it was incorrect in the first place. I was not about to spend $100 without letting myself be heard. They denied my appeal so I cancelled my appt the day before my next scheduled appointment. They STILL charged me another $100, and I told them where to go! They don’t have my license info I never attached to any documents, and I never attached cc info for them to automatically charge. BEWARE if you do this! You will speak to different team members in different states each time. Do your research before signing up with Lifestance. Just a shame that my dr referred me to this place. wondering if she has referral $$ coming her way too somehow. Sad world we live in now can’t even trust medical staff they just want to pad their pockets! Too bad because I liked the therapist, and psychologist only a couple sessions in. I’ll find somewhere else to get therapy.

First of all, I don't care for shrinks. They only care about pushing drugs and have not the least bit of interest in you. They need to find a problem with your brain so they can push the drugs. I went to get a script for a medication I have been on that really helped me (controlled). I was required to get a clearance letter from my primary/cardio. (I don't have a cardio) Turns out it wasn't enough. This is 3 visits in. Long story short, they wanted me to come IN person and go see ANOTHER DOCTOR (cardio) even though I had not been followed by cardio (VA) for over 12 years! They claim it was for my "safety", even though I have been on this med for 4 years! So no, they will try to scam you into unnecessary visits and push drugs on you that you already know won't work, and/or use you as a guinea pig and try them all. I fired her as soon as she said, "I need to see you in person.", Why? I had already given her my Primary care and Cardio clinic letters stating there was no contraindication. I am falling apart after three months off my meds. Get a psychotherapist. Shrinks don't listen to you; they just push their agenda on you $$$

I feel bad that such great providers are stuck working for such a disgusting company. If you need to reschedule your appointment even if you call more than24 hours with a legitimate reasoning they charge you $150. This is absolutely unheard of. What an abhorrent policy for a mental health company. But greed rules the medical industry and Lifestance clearly values greed and money and not the care for human beings.

New patient appointment, wanted to get an assessment done so they booked me an appointment when I called. We showed up for the telehealth visit and it turns out the wrong appointment was booked. The provider cancelled the call and we were in the call less than 2 mins. I paid the copay ahead of time but they also charged me a $100 cancellation fee since it got cancelled less than 48 hours. I called and they said they were going to put a note for billing, but I still get billed. Trying to contact them again so they cancel this.

I used Lifestance to find a mental health professional. I ended the relationship after two sessions because the provider inaccurately billed me among other issues. I present documentation to Lifestance about the overbilling issue and after 10 months of going back and forth they backed the provider while providing no evidence to refute the documentation I provided. Please save yourself the frustration. Get a referral for mental Healthcare from somewhere else. This company is not run well. It's operations are dysfunctional and will leave you frustrated at significant cost to your wallet and time. ​
