what can I say about his doctor and this 'company"? I pleaded with Dr. Philip Simkowitz, to give me a few anti-depressant pills which I've been on for many years for at least a few days until coverage would be kicked in; I am a sexual assault survivor and have been through terrible experiences; I'm 65, recently on Medicare but still have the same coverage with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Dr. Simkowitz told me I'd have to wait 2 weeks before getting any help. Really??? Typical. White man, entitled, private school for his children; didn't give seem to care about me. Never asked me a question about my life and being a survivor of countless abuse. I'm thrilled that I've found someone else who did not deny me my basic human rights.

This doctor’s office will waste your time and money. LifeStance in Baltimore is extremely dishonest and unethical. I made a Doctors appointment with LifeStance health and the doctor never made it to the appointment. LifeStance Health in Baltimore said this was due to his Internet being down and not working on the doctor’s end. This wasted over an hour of my time waiting for no reason. All they had to do was communicate, but LifeStance Health in Baltimore did not. I had to call in to find out this information. Because the Doctor’s internet was down and he could not make my appointment, I had to reschedule a second appointment. I understand there can be technical issues for a telemedicine appointment, so I rescheduled. On the day of this appointment, my cell phone stopped working and I had to purchase a new cell phone. As soon as I had my new cell phone working, I immediately called them to explain the problem and they charge $95 on my credit card. I explained the above issue very clearly to the receptionist and she said there’s nothing that she could do. I would have to contact the provider on the portal. I messaged the provider on the portal and their portal doesn’t work. The message wouldn’t go through. I called back again and they say there’s nothing they could do to help me. I would not make an appointment at LifeStance Health, unless you want to get financially ripped off and taken advantage of financially. LifeStance Heath is very hypocritical, unethical, dishonest and excessively greedy when it comes to money. Please beware Of this doctor’s office and company LifeStance Health. They only care about money and have no compassion for their patients. Make appointments here at your own financial risk and time.

Where to even begin with this horrible company. Billing is a nightmare. I had to beg them multiple times over the course of 3 months to have them send charges to my insurance, which they had lost the information for no less than 8 times. Furthermore, they take at least a week to respond to any message. And when they do, their response has nothing to do with the content of your message. They’ve sent the wrong medication to the wrong pharmacy and outright denied the existence of previous messages. Since starting with Lifestance Health a little over a year ago, I’ve had to get by for a total of two months without my medication. I’ve had to call them begging to have my prescription refilled more times than I can count. It’s humiliating to deal with them. The amount of apathy and incompetence I’ve had to deal with is staggering. I am fully convinced that any of their ratings above 3 starts is from a fake account. Edit 12 hr later: This is their business model. They show a good face to the public and ignore their patients. Notice how they sent a reply to my review mere hours later whereas I have yet to receive any of the care that I paid them for. Shameful. Absolutely shameful.

Lifestance health has flakey therapist, poor customer service, and horrible billing practices. Our Therapist quit and did not show for her appointment and they still charged us for the visit. I reached out numerous times to the billing department which is almost impossible to reach. When I finally reached them they stated that "the therapist no longer worked for them, so they would look into the inquiry." They never did. This outfit provides terrible customer and they are nearly impossible to reach! I am sure there response will be the same robotic resonse given to all thier customers who have issues, instead of actully reaching out to clients to resolve thier issues. BEWARE

I brought my adult daughter for testing for Autism. The office we went to is in Augusta Ga. We didn't get the diagnosis we were hoping for. Not only didn't she get the diagnosis but her current diagnosis from previous doctors were dismissed. So basic "nothing " is wrong with my daughter and I assume he feels she was acting. Everything I mentioned on the paper app was dismissed. I paid for this out of pocket. I will take her to another facility.

Contacted Lifestance Health about an overpayment. The Billing Representative indicated that she could not discuss anything related to the refund process with me as I was not the patient and she did not want to lose her job over it. When I indicated that other medical billing departments have no problem providing that information to the individual who is the primary insured she implied they were breaking the law. This despite the fact that they did not reveal to me any PII nor any protected medical information. When I asked if I would be contacted about whether there would be a refund, she stated she would call my wife if she hears anything about it. My wife later went online to fill out the form to share information with me. It turns out that the section for sharing medical information specifically excludes sharing billing information. Not being a native English speaker, she would have missed this disclaimer without my assistance. One has to scroll through and read each section to figure out which one shares billing information. Definitely the WORST form of it's kind I have ever seen, and I've seen well over a dozen of them. It certainly seems like LifeStance intentionally made it difficult for the primary insured to access billing information.

WARNING!!!!IF YOU CHOOSE THIS, YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY! and you will not get the help you need... If you get a nurse by the name of Paula, RUN. She will accuse you of being a drug addict if you want something for your diagnosis of ADHD. Why is that the health care industry will jump on giving a child medication for ADHD, but give someone a hell of a time if they have the diagnosis...SHAME ON YOU PAULA. QUIT YOUR JOB, because clearly you are not =good at what you think you are doing. As far the the therapy part, if you are looking for someone to just listen, well this is the place for that, but if you have real problems.....THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!!!!!Good luck. They cancelled my appointment a couple of hours prior, then told me it would be 2 months to rebook me, which doesn't work because I'll be out of the medication I've been on for 17 years by then. Oh, but they're sorry. As long as they're sorry.
