I was waiting at home, expecting to see the therapist show up on my screen at the appointment time and he says he was waiting for me to show up on his. I waited a full hour. Nothing. Now they insist on charging me $60 for a missed appointment. I will not pay it but they are hounding me for the money. And who would risk another appointment?

I am leaving my therapist who I really like and has helped me a lot. I loved Lifestance until they changed their late fee policy. Now you have to give 48hrs notice or be charged $100. I'm a SAHM of 2 kids, sometimes my kids wake up sick. Or I am sick. I try my best to give 24hrs if possible. I have been charged $400 in late fees. That's almost more than what I've paid in actual therapy. Im sorry but I just can't afford that and I dont know who can in this economy. Also now I have more anxiety about having to find a new therapist and med provider.

Bad company. Take your health issues somewhere else. Charged me over $1000 for appointments my kids did not even go to. They do not mail any invoices, only send invoices to their company portal/ app for you to pay. Dumb policy, lazy non helpful. Do exactly the opposite of what they are supposed to be in business for. Way to cause stress and anxiety.

I was supposed to get a response from the TMI department about my insurance and start date; I waited 3 months! So I called for the 5th time only for the uneducated receptionist to tell me to call my insurance myself. There was more than insurance approval that I was waiting for but she was too ignorant to know that.

I would strongly suggest that if you care about your mental health, you stay as far aware from life stance as possible. Their billing practices are shady at best. If you pay before every visit, you'll still have billing issues.

Made my mental health worse. The “Therapist” was incompetent, caused psychological damage, blurred boundaries Was judging me and overall an absolutely horrible experience. The billing was terrible, overpriced and would not recommend ever going there. Not one positive thing came out of it. There’s so many more details I can include but won’t. Let’s just so Therapist was completely unethical in every single way.

Horrible experience at LifeStance Burlingame, CA location. Wasn't greeted upon arrival (despite TWO persons sitting at front desk). Provider didn't show up on time so I asked one of the front-desk clerks and he said, "I'll message him again". No kindness, no apology. Finally, 6-10 min after my scheduled appt, the provider shows up looking like he ran a 5K and didn't even apologize. I felt he was distracted the entire session and he also had the balls to tell me "well, we're coming up on time..." at the 40-minute mark. Wow, no offering to stay a few minutes longer due to his tardiness. Oh and if you want to cancel, reschedule... you have to call. You can't leave messages and you can wait 20+ minutes to cancel. WHAT? This isn't 2000. Truly, worst healthcare experience of my life.

I would give zero stars if I could. Do NOT go with this company. After long contemplation I decided to start therapy again. It was a super tough decision. They helped me schedule my session and it seemed to be going fine. I received my bill and it was so high and wasnt run through my insurance. I immediately called to get this resolved. And they said that I saw a provider outside my network. This was not true I saw someone in my county of coverage. I have now called 5 times over the last month including an international call during my vacation. They continue to delay and say nothing was sent to insurance but there is nothing they can do. Only "leadership" can fix it. They ask for a cc on file so my card got charged today and now I will need to fight the charge through my bank. I cannot believe the blatant incompetence and horrific billing practices they use. DO NOT USE THESE SERVICES. THEY ARE MAJOR GRIFTERS.
