Frustrating experience
My son wanted to speak to therapist this summer, so I made an appointment with a therapist in the New Hype Park, NY office. My son specifically asked for in person visits. The therapist was nice but I guess because it was summer time he didn’t want to do in office visits on Saturdays. He would either cancel the appointment or try to get my son to do virtual. So after a while, my son wanted someone new to speak to. My husband specifically took these people no virtual visits. We got an appointment to speak to a psychiatrist in the Forest Hills, NY location. We made this appointment in October to see this psychiatrist in November. Now they call on the day of the appointment that the doctor has to cancel or do a virtual visit. Luckily my son is feeling much better by speaking to a school counselor so he told me to cancel the appointment. This place was a disappointment. Thank God my son doesn’t have a very serious condition because if I kept dealing with this place, he would never be seen. I would give a zero if I could. Why do they keep pushing virtual visits if the patient doesn’t want them.
